The Farmhouse in Tech Terrace

This is the perfect place for Lubbock. You have everything you need in the house, the beds are comfortable and the host was very friendly and helpful. Much better than a hotel! The house is a great way to feel like you are in the country, but smack dab in the city! Great place to stay!

Close to TT and other off campus eating and grocery stores. Nice neighbors with plenty of parking in front and great back yard. Inside was nice layout and plenty of space and amenities.

We stayed here while moving my daughter into TTU. The house is absolutely adorable and so very convenient to the campus. Loved having more space than just a traditional hotel room plus a full kitchen. The beds were like sleeping on clouds and the towels were fluffy and fresh. We will definitely book this house again whenever we go to visit!

A wonderful place to stay for a night or weekend. Close to Tech and easy to get into and out of. The back yard is a great place to hang out. Definitely a must see.

I second I walked into the house It was like wow - the decor is just so charming and welcoming! The stack of games was great. We played Clue for the first time in decades. There was a cabinet door by the back door with balls and a frisbee for the dogs and other touches that only a dog lover would think of. The back yard is large and the dogs loved it. It was great to have a patio. The neighborhood is quite great for taking walks. The host is super gracious and welcoming. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience.

Attentive, and very welcoming. Was truly surprised at the spped of their response when questions arose. Will be staying again!

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse! The home was very cozy and comfortable and the perfect place for our family Thanksgiving. The communication with and kindness of the host was exceptional, and we highly recommend this VRBO for a great stay in Lubbock!

Overall dirty, the second bathroom shower and floor was dirty, shower curtain was disgusting at bottom. Towels were stained and not fresh. Master bedroom bed sunk in on one side, twin beds extremely hard. Location was excellent, backyard fire pit perfect.Kitchen supplied and working.So some things need attention and the place would be nice. Host was super flexible and responsive.

We were in town for a Tech game with 2 other alumni couples. The house was well kept, had plenty of room and reminded us of when we used to live in Tech Terrace as students back in the day. Karen and John were extremely responsive and accommodating through out our stay. Highly recommend this property and hosts.

House was so comforting and relaxing. This was my first B&B experience and most definitely will use this option again over hotels. The beck yard was one of my favorites and if I had more time, I would most definitely have used the backyard amenities.

Love the Farmhouse! So charming, such a great location. We are always happy when we can stay here. Great communication with owners. There was plenty of room to spread out, great backyard and convenient to Texas Tech. The owners checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed as a family of 5 for a wedding in Lubbock. The property was well kept and the home was great! It is close to Texas Tech and it was easy to get to both University Avenue and Indiana Avenue. We would stay here again!

The Farmhouse is a beautiful, comfortable stay in a perfect location. So many charming details in the decor, sturdy and comfortable furniture, beautiful backyard with lots of spaces to hang out or enjoy a meal. Hosts were wonderful, welcoming, great communication. Absolutely loved our stay.

This is a great small house! Very comfortable. Reminded my wife and I of our first home. Well maintained with lots of character. Located in a quiet suburban neighborhood within walking distance of Texas Tech and no more than a 10 minute drive to everything else. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

We needed a place to stay near to Texas Tech for a 2-day event. The communications from the owner were helpful, friendly, and welcoming. We didn't spend much time in the house - basically just shower and sleep. But it was like staying at a friend's house. Very easy. Great layout. Nice deco.. Thankful!

We stayed in town to attend niece’s basketball tournament and the property was in the perfect location. It was very clean and comfortable. The owners were excellent to communicate with. Terrific owners and property and I would recommend to anyone headed to the Lubbock area

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. This cute house is comfy and inviting. It had everything we needed. The firepit with wood provided, and the nice backyard were a favorite feature for us. The neighborhood is quiet and we were able to check out the pizza place, coffee shop, brewery, and bakery right around the corner. Karen felt like a close friend rather than a host; checking to see if we had everything we needed and making sure our stay was perfect. Don’t miss your chance to stay here. We will be back!

First time to stay in a short stay rental. We are spoiled now and will probably not stay in a hotel if possible in the future. We think the key is getting a place with good management. Cannot express enough how welcome we felt from the communication between us and management. The listing indicated pet friendly and that was an understatement. It was so so pet friendly. Check in and check out was a breeze. Karen and John were the best host and hostess without even being there.

We stay at The Farmhouse every time we visit our son in Lubbock....we consider it our Lubbock home. It is cute, clean and comfortable! Great location....you can walk to a great coffee shop and pizza place and it is very close to Texas Tech. The owner, Karen, is great at communicating and always ensures that we have everything we need for our stay. Pets are welcome, and they even have dog bowls and leashes for you! Nice backyard with a deck, fire pit, and adirondack chairs. We just returned from another great weekend at The Farmhouse and will definitely be booking it again for our next visit!

Had a last minute 24 hr trip to Lubbock and happened upon this rental. Plenty of space for our family of 6 and 2 pets. Karen was such an attentive and lovely host - made our stay that much better!!

We rented so that we could move our daughter into her college dorm. This was the perfect space to rest in and spend the last bit of family time before we moved her in. All of the kids had space to sleep and the rooms were actually bigger than it seemed in the photos. This helped as we had the 2yr old in a playpen in the master room and still had plenty of space. We didn’t get to really utilize the back yard this trip but it is a wonderful space to hang out. We reached out to the owner before the trip and once during and she was extremely helpful, kind, and quick to respond!! I would definitely rent the house again!

We totally loved our stay at the Farmhouse. The house was very clean/updated and felt very homey. The back yard was very inviting in the evenings to hang out and relax in the evening. The neighborhood was super quiet and the doves in the trees in the morning were soothing to listen to with coffee in the AM out back. We would definitely look for this place for futures stays in Lubbock. Our Host was super communicative and very helpful - THANKS KAREN :)

The house was exactly as advertised. We appreciated the cleanliness of the home and the comfy beds. Also the AC worked great and there were ceiling fans in all bedrooms so the temp inside was very comfortable despite being an older home.
