The Space:

This is an ultra-modern cottage in the chic gaslamp district of Salt Lake City. Just 2 blocks from the center of the Sugarhouse shopping district, which is a great walking/shopping district filled with unique restaurants, shops, boutiques, and art studios. It's a quick 8 minutes to the center of downtown from this unique home via car or bus. There is easy access to both Salt Lake City's and Park City's ski resorts. The neighborhood is extremely safe and walkable.



Although the location is one of the best selling points for this home, the house itself is a gem, too! It has recently been completely renovated and modernized to be a super-unique residence that stands out in a sea of plain vacation rentals in the area. The entire living space is above ground, so there's no dark basement rooms. There are two bright bedrooms on the main floor and one huge bedroom with 7 windows on the second floor. Each floor has its own FULL bathroom and there is a modern kitchen that's fully stocked with everything you'll need to cook full meals. Free off-street parking for two vehicles as well as unlimited free street parking. Free ultra high-speed wifi.



The back yard is fully-fenced and has plenty of shade trees and outdoor furniture. The master bedroom has high ceilings and there is a bonus dormer room attached to the main master bedroom. Unlike the main bedroom, this bonus room has a low ceiling, so we put lots of lounge pillows and a thick rug so that it can be used as a lounging and movie watching area - a small, but very fun and comfortable space! NO CATS ALLOWED. Dogs require a $99 pet fee each.



There are five beds available; three memory foam beds and two inflating Aerobeds:

• Bedroom 1: King bed (top floor)

• Bedroom 2: Queen bed (main floor)

• Bedroom 3: Queen bed (main floor)

• Living Room: Twin deluxe self-inflating Aerobed (main floor)

• Bonus Loft: Queen air mattress (attached to the master bedroom)



Guest Access:

Guests will be provided with nearly everything they need: linens, towels, kitchen soap, detergent, laundry machine, hair dryer, iron, etc. Please note that you MUST coordinate with us if you want to arrive before 4 PM since other guests might be checking out on that same morning that you arrive. When Airbnb says that your check-in time is flexible, they mean that we can work with you if you request an early check-in; it doesn't mean that you can check in whenever you want and we don't guarantee early check-ins. So please plan on getting our approval for your check-in time.

There is an inexpensive bus system that will take you almost anywhere in the valley and this home is very close to several of the bus stops.



Other Things to Note:

This is a very old house. It is updated and in excellent shape, but it is an old house none the less. Do not expect a condo built in 2026.



WE HAVE NO HIDDEN FEES. Our only fees are clearly listed in several places on this listing: There is a a one-time cleaning fee which is clearly listed by Airbnb. Dogs are welcome, NO CATS ALLOWED, any other type of animal needs to be approved ahead of time. Conventions rates & holidays will override the standard rates shown, even if the convention dates change. Some convention dates are not input yet, and will apply regardless of reservations and inquiries made.



Rates fluctuate automatically according to a computer-driven algorithm based on supply & demand. But don't worry, your rates will be locked in at the time you pay for your reservation, so if they go up or down, we will not charge you the difference or give you a refund. So no worries - we'll honor your original rates :-). This is a full-time vacation rental - it is not cluttered with an owner's personal items since nobody lives here. Our only fees are clearly listed in several places on this listing: There is a a one-time cleaning fee that covers the cleaning that occurs after you check out.



We can provide one travel crib (pack n' play), one baby high-chair, and one self-inflating deluxe twin bed kit, free of charge on request. Additional cribs, high-chairs, or beds can be provided, but each additional item will cost $25 per stay. A baby stroller can be provided free of charge but we don't usually keep those at the house, so please request that ahead of time. Additional items that are requested ahead of time are almost always guaranteed, but any last-minute requests are not guaranteed.



Interaction with Guests:

We coordinate with all guests ahead of time to make sure their check-in is easy and stress-free. We will send out the check-in instructions 2 days before your arrival. Check-in times must be coordinated prior to arrival to guarantee an exact check-in time.
