Stayed May 23, 2026The Crab Shack was amazing. We had 8 people the 1st leg of the trip and 7 the remaining of the week. The house is so spacious. We never felt on top of each other. The house was so clean and had everything you could possibly need. The boat was the best addition. We went to the Anclote island twice and the sand bar twice. We should've done the sand bar every day. It was amazing. Fishing on one side, felt like the Caribbean on the other. We stuck the shibumi up and stayed out all day. Don't waste your time going to a local beach. Just hit up the sand bar. The pool was so nice as well. There's a Publix down the road. Also, ate at The rusty belly. So good! We saw sea turtles and dolphins all around the dock. Such a peaceful area. (Also mattresses and pillows were comfy and there was a box fan in each room for anyone that needs air blowing directly on them like I do ) check in was so simple and communication was always super quick with the owners. We loved meeting Kim and Brenda and can't wait to come back to their property again

Stayed Apr 25, 2026We’ve stayed here several times and always have a great experience! The house is extremely clean, well kept, and has everything we need. We love having both the pool and boat available, and the location is very convenient with grocery stores nearby. We always look forward to coming back!

Stayed Apr 18, 2026We loved this house! It was very clean and had everything we needed—including toys for the kids, which was a great bonus. The pontoon boat was amazing, and we had so much fun going out to the sandbar. One day we even saw dolphins and a manatee, which made the trip extra special.Kim and Brenda were wonderful hosts and made everything easy. This was our second time staying here, and we would definitely come back again!

Stayed Jul 26, 2025The home and location were absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for our family of six plus our parents tagging along. The house is very well stocked with everything you need. The access to the boat was our favorite part. We fished and scalloped and boated to the sand bar every day. Coming off of the sand bar and having the evening to spend in the pool was so nice. They had everything we needed for the beach and the pool. The location was convenient to town. It was very clean and comfortable. We even had a manatee come visit us one evening in the canal. One of our best Florida vacations. Brenda was also very easy to contact for questions. She even sent us updated pictures of the property after they remodeled.

Stayed Jul 5, 2025Had a fabulous time in this gorgeous house. We couldnt believe how quickly and beautifully the house was repaired and renovated after last years storms. All the restaurant's we love in the area were open and as good as ever. The boat and trips to the island/sandbar really make this a special place. Saw lots of wildlife - Dolphins, turtles, manatees and raccoons. Owners were responsive but nit intrusive. We will be back.

And a boat too!!Best family vaca.The only issue was Vrbo I paid insurance on property for any damages to insurance company n Vrbo charged us too. Never got money back for it so just b careful

Stayed Jul 6, 2024The home was clean and well appointed. Pool was very nice and well maintained. Dock and boat are in great shape. Canal is much wider than it appears in the photos, we were surprised by it's size. Very nice quiet spot to relax. Takes between 20 and 30 minutes to get to the sand bar from the house. Home is well appointed, fishing gear, beach gear, etc. The area outside the home is lacking, if you want something to do outside the boat and sandbar, you will need to drive down to Tarpon springs for shops and things to do. No complaints from us, Brenda was communicative and responded to any questions we had. Great host.
