The Cowshed is a new conversion of a building which was once a cow barn. Set in a country garden, with views of a large pond, this property is ideal for an escape to the country, with high-spec modern fittings, luxurious bedding and beautiful lighting. Located 1.5 miles from the historic market town of Tenterden with plenty of shops and restaurants. The Cowshed benefits from a private south-facing garden.

As we only opened for a couple of months before lockdown, we have not got anyreviews on this site yet, but we have many good reviews elsewhere.

    We had a very enjoyable stay at The Cowshed. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. The setting was lovely and very peaceful. The communication from the owner was timely and comprehensive. Would definitely consider a return visit.

    Our stay at the Cowshed was delightful. After a busy weekend it was the perfect place to return to. Clean and bright accommodation with the addition of well managed garden area, ideal for sitting out in the evening and relaxing by the small lake.

    The Cowshed is a lovely little property for a couple, located within the beautiful grounds of the owner's property. It is well equipped and very clean, with some wonderful outdoor space to enjoy when the weather allows. We even had a visit from a badger whist we were there!There are many places to visit in the area including vineyards, gardens and Stately Homes, and numerous places to eat nearby, if you don't want to cook.

    The Cowshed, is set in absolutely beautiful gardens with a pond and benches to sit and relax on. The accommodation is lovely, all open plan so weird no bedroom door, as just a wall between. Mum found the short wardrobe above the washing machine difficult to reach, so maybe a shorter/elderly person would find it a little tricky. But overall it was delightful, as were Guy and Clair and as for Kate the dog we loved her popping over to say hello. We would be more than happy to stay here again. Thankyou. x

    Had a lovely short break (4 nights). The property was clean, tidy and the gardens and pond well kept. We both recommend and we had some nice days out in the surrounding Kent countryside.

    Brilliantly fitted out property in private garden setting. Close to all Kent attractions from the lovely village of Tenterden. Would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here.

    Wonderful property in extensive grounds. Able to charge electric car. Good local walks from property to Tenterden and along High Weald Landscape Trail. Innumerable places of interest within a 20 minute drive in all directions. Great hosts.

    We rented the Cowshed for a wedding we attended and it was very spacious for two people and had everything we needed! The hosts were so kind and helpful!! The property is beautiful and scenic. We enjoyed the backyard/patio area, as well. Wonderful memories made ❤️
