Stayed Jun 18, 2024Cute cottage in the country - close to everything. Very close to Dreams Park (less than 10 minutes) and downtown Cooperstown shopping and restaurants. The cottage is tidy and clean. Bedroom AC units kept the bedrooms cool. Bathroom shower had very good water pressure.

Stayed Oct 3, 2025Perfect location, perfectly suitable for group. 4 Bedrooms are comfortable. All was clean and tidy but for some vacuuming that could have improved the floors. The smoke detector battery failed the first night we were there and we replaced it with a battery thoughtfully left in a drawer for such an event.

Stayed Jul 31, 2024We arrived and we were initially disappointed after being in the heat and looking forward to checking in to our rental that stated it had “Air Conditioning” and to pull up to find window air units. The rooms upstairs had nice AC units, but if you are looking for quiet, these are not. But we liked the “fan” noise it provided. Downstairs main areas were HOT and that created a musty smell. Thankfully there were many fans provided and we got air circulating. I would recommend the Host state that the AC is not throughout the house. Another con- we went to use the bathrooms and hand towels, shower towels, etc were not provided. We went to Dollar General and purchased. Last Con- the driveway is very tight and tree over growth was ridiculous. We were not able to park and get out of our vehicle. Roberta saw our problem and told us where else we could park with no problems! Pros! Close to Dreams Park and many of the restaurants! We went to Mascots, Bambino’s, Coop Barn, and Ommegang. The place is clean and very cute! There is a spacious backyard to play wiffle ball, and have a bonfire! The AC units in the upstairs rooms were able to cool off very nicely and quickly! We would turn off when we left for several hours and the upstairs cooled down nicely! Beds were comfortable! Affordable, great option - especially since we don’t spend a lot of time at the house except to eat, sleep, and make memories with friends! The Host responds quickly and was very nice to communicate with!

Stayed Jun 13, 2024This host was extremely difficult and hostile at check out. We had issues during our stay however we dealt with them and did not call the host every time we ran into an issue. Some of the issues were: the pillows were stained, 1 one bullnose on stairs hadnail sticking out other was loose. The extensive chore list for 9am included sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down toilet and bathrooms, and stripping bed sheets and towels. On our last night the boys returned early from Cooperstown and as soon as we arrived with the bags, the host immediately texted, asking about the number of guests, implying she was watching us. (we had a lot of bags because we were at a baseball tournament) The host also knew that the AC was on and our cars were not there also implying she was watching us. (FYI: baby was napping while mom was there) On checkout day, the host screamed at us falsely accusing us of exceeding the guest limit and admitted to peeking through the window and looking inside while we were there. This invasion of privacy and the host's aggressive behavior were utterly disturbing. We did not exceed guest limits or host parties or behave inappropriately, and despite the nail on the stairs cutting my sister's toe, we had a good time until the host's actions ruined it. We spent most of our time at a ball field and very little time in the cabin so I cannot understand what was wrong with the host. I reported this unethical behavior. Super disappointing way to end a wonderful trip.

Stayed Jul 9, 2023My family and I enjoyed our stay at this adorable property. It is conveniently located, near the Village and close to Dreams Park. The cottage is very well-kept and has eclectic touches throughout. The kids especially enjoyed the large backyard! Roberta was very attentive and responsive to any inquiries we had. I highly recommend staying here!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The property was perfect for us four Dads during our Cooperstown visit to watch our team play. It was a 1mile walk/drive to downtown Cooperstown, and a 7 min drive to Dreamspark. The backyard was perfect for whiffle ball games, and the view of the creek down the hill was an unexpected bonus.
