The clos from here a stone's throw from Clos Lucé

It was a lovely property. Loved the amount of bedrooms and beds. Loved how much space was available. Would recommend updating the bathroom info on the listing. Thought there might be only one toilet with several sinks & showers, but happily surprised to find 3 toilets. Highly recommend this property and the host was very friendly, helpful and communicative.

Fantastic property - ideal for a large family wanting to enjoy the area for a few days. Very comfortable, lots of space and we loved how close we were to the centre of Amboise. Such a treat to be able to walk in and not get the car out!!!

Lots of room for five of us. Everything we needed in the house. Good position for Clos Lucé and easy walk into town. Easy drive to many other castles, vineyards etcA bit difficult to keep cool, especially the upstairs rooms, when the weather was very hot

We stayed with extended family to enjoy the Loire Valley. It was a terrific vacation because of the high volume of world class tourist sites within a 30 to 60 minute drive, as well as two chateaus within a 15 minute walk. The place was incredibly well located and the rooms and design were very convenient for a party of eight or nine. We had great communication with the owner and very pleased overall woth the experience and highly recommend.

The house was great. It was located a short walk to town, was very easy to find and had great accommodations for our family. It would be a 5/5 however the downstairs toilet had a bad smell that permeated to the hall and bedroom. We were told it was due to rain, but it was not pleasant. Otherwise the property and manager were excellent.

We had a group of ten, and we loved the house, the space, the patio, the yard games, and the location was great! We had the unfortunate timing of very hot weather (over 100 degrees F), so sleeping conditions were quite warm. The communication with the owner was fantastic! We would definitely recommend this place!

This gite was perfect for our family of nine! Has been renovated & beds are very comfortable! We enjoyed eating outside & it was nice to have a place to park our cars. It was so convenient to walk to everything! The Friday market was a great place to buy local produce & eat some crepes! Loved touring Leonardo de Vinci’s house , Clos de Luce, & chateaus nearby! Highly recommend!

The house was very clean and we had lots of room for our family of 5. The location was great for visiting the area chateaus. We walked to the downtown area each evening for shopping, outdoor dining and gelato. Laure was very helpful and responsive.

Had a wonderful stay in Amboise. The host made some great recommendations in the village and surrounding area.
