The Casitas At Gruene, #3 Romance Casita

We loved the whole experience from start to finish, Everything was perfect, We will def. be back, Hospitality was excellent, and we loved being so close to Gruene downtown. We plan on making this a yearly place to visit each year for our family reunion.

The whole weekend was amazing! The river is in the back yard and all the big things in Gruene are a short walk away. Also the casita is nicely decorated and very romantic. We loved every minute it.

We had a wonderful stay! We stayed here for a concert at Gruene Hall and it was a short walk away which was so convenient. Clean, cozy, and highly recommend!

This was a beautiful place to stay clean and neat. Access to the river was perfect with all the river stuff you needed. Close to ever thing, we had a wonderful time. Our stay was amazing! Everything is in walking distance, the Casitas # 3 was just perfect. The bed was SO comfortable I really didnt want to get up in the morning. River access is amazing !!! I am already to go back, I really wish we did not have to leave. We will definitely be booking again!!!

Wonderful location

This was our second summer to stay at the Casita’s for my best friends birthday. It’s an amazing location with private river access. It’s definitely a fantastic place to stay and play in Gruene!

We enjoyed this lovely place. Restaurants are across the street. Short walk to Greune Hall and the historic town. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Access to the river as well.

Everything was as described and pictured. Fantastic location! We walked everywhere. The access to the river was perfect. We look forward to returning, and highly recommend.

This place is amazing!! Very cute Casitas and decorated beautifully. Amazing detail to our anniversary celebration with a bottle of wine and rose petals on the bed! The staff is so nice and the owner lives on site and visited with us down by the river. The area was set up with game and barbecue are and the area around the river also had a grill area, fire pit, canoes and inner tubes. Just beautifully done and can't wait to go back!!

The perfect mix of private accommodations near the hustle, bustle in town life of quaint shops, restaurants and live music in Greune, with just a short private walk down to the outdoor, solitude and wildlife of the Guadalupe River.... what more could you ask for?! Always a great getaway!

This place was Great. It was very clean and had all we needed to feel at home. The walk to the river was beautiful, I wish it was summer but nevertheless it was so very nice. Restaurants and downtown shopping are a rock throw away and a must to visit Gruene Historical District. We had a fabulous time, thank you Romantic Casita for hosting us. Private , quiet, ultra comfortable

Excellent communication from owner. Everything in Gruene (coffee, shopping, drinks, restaurants) are in walking distance (either direction) from the location. Everything was as advertised, very clean, and they went over the top for our anniversary with rose petals & a bottle of champagne. Highly recommend.

We had the best time and this is our new favorite spot! It was a beautiful and cozy casita that was walking distance to all of our favorite spots! We will absolutely be back!

We stayed here during the Christmas Market and Gruene’s Christmas lighting ceremony. The location allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The casita is quaint and well furnished. Great path down to the river with plenty of water toys waiting to be used. Cold and rainy during our visit but would love to come back during the summer.

Very nice location and river access. Wish #3 had a view but, still very nice place and accommodations. As somewhat of an old local I highly recommend.

The location is a very short walk to shopping, Gruene Hall, The Gristmill and the Gruene Mansion. The private river access is awesome and also the perfect place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or a picnic lunch. The Casita looked like brand new inside and out and the entire property looked like something out of a magazine.

Perfect location, walkable to everything & definitely the best spot to sit in the river & unwind. Had a blast!

My wife and I had a great experience for our 15th anniversary. We stayed in Casita 3 which is standalone from the other Casitas. We parked the car and were able to walk everywhere for the duration of our weekend. Downtown Gruene is a 2 minute walk away and we found a great coffee shop (Kora Kora) about 5 minutes in the other direction. There's live music across the street and though we could hear it faintly, our white noise maker drowned it out. We didnt expect to have access to kayaks but those were available to us. The river spot really was beautiful. Though the room and livong room are cozy, there was a closet to store bags out of the way which made it feel more spacious. Definitely a place we would come back.

This place is conveniently located to all the local hotspots. We were able to walk to all of them. Our neighbors rented a golf cart, so that is also an option. The river access was the best compared to the other places along that stretch of the river. The casita was clean and cozy as well. When we come back, this is the place we would choose again!

This property has everything you need to have a great stay in Gruene. River access, and close proximity to all the restaurants and shops. Don't pass this one up, book it!

Such a cute property! Perfect location for all the local fun, as well as hanging out by the river. 😍 The ramp treck down and up gave us a heck of a work out, but the serene river location and adorable local wildlife made it so worth it! Thanks y'all!
