My family had a great time relaxing and catching up in this space for the weekend. They’ve done an amazing job making the experience feel welcoming.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a group of 12 and the house was plenty big for us, with enough room both inside and outside.

We rented the house for a family wedding in Gruene so we could all stay together. The view is so beautiful and the accommodation was perfect for a large family

We loved staying here so much! We had about 20 college students and it was great, we definitely want to come back. Tons of room to spread out and the best outdoor space you could ask for. Great location too, only a 20 minute walk from Gruene Hall.

Despite room for 22, only 7 of us enjoyed this trip. The house is certainly unique, with lots of rooming options. Everything was clean and tidy. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. The jewel in the crown is the back yard on the river. just a beautiful, serene spot. We will be back, without doubt.

Our group of 10 had a lovely time at the house. We had dinner on the patio; the kitchen was perfect for cooking. Everyone loved the charm of the house. We even took kayaks out on the river. Hope to be back soon!

Best house on the Guadalupe. Great for friends and families!

What a great home! The setting is perfect, the water is pristine and the Cypress trees are huge. The shaded back yard is 10 degrees cooler than in the sun, plenty of space for lots of friends. The covered patio (with ceiling fans) was perfect!

We had a great time at this home! It was even better than the pictures depicted. Very cute/quaint house along the river. We enjoyed the deer walking up in the morning and the peaceful views looking out over the water. It was a great time with our dental office team to relax and enjoy each other.

The house was perfect for our family. Lots of privacy for everyone and lots of family together space at the same time. Loved kayaking and floating in the river. We all want to come back.

All of our friends/family want to go back! It's a really cool old house by the river with plenty of space for yard games. Plus having the river right there with so many kayaks and tubes to use is a huge plus to the property. The owners are super nice as well.

We were two families with grandma and really enjoyed our stay. The views of the river are spectacular, plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone and great river access and equipment that we made the most of. The house is dated inside in terms of appliances and we had an AC leaking problem one night that the owners came over and took care of. Kitchen is very small for the size of the house/people but we enjoyed the nice grill outside. The one thing that would have been good to know that wasn’t in the listing is there is an RV on the property that also has the river access for renters through the same back yard river access. We thought it was private and only were told about this at checkin.

We had our annual family vacation and slept comfortably for a large gathering! Host were so accommodating and was a perfect place to stay. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short because of Hurricane. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for everything.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon & departed on Friday morning after a week of fun filled activities, ie, both local to the area as well as via the property itself, as they provide river tubes, kayaks, fire pit, hot-tub, bbq pits, plenty of outdoor spaces for visiting, gaming, etc! We had 18 in our party ranging in age from 7-to-72 which this property housed perfectly with 9 bedrooms & 6.5 bathrooms! We cooked indoors & outdoors everyday thus there's 2 refrigerators + all the pots & pans provided and full dishwasher & soap. They also had 2 full-size washers & dryers with soap & dryer sheets! Lynnae & Jeff were great property managers prior to arrival, during and after, as they responded to our requests via email, phone & texts! The property is well located just minutes from downtown Gruene & New Braunfels which both provide great shopping & restaurant opportunities! The house itself has 3 levels with 3 bedrooms on the ground/main level & 4 upstairs & 2 downstairs! Also...there's a tv located outside on the patio as well in all bedrooms & den! They also have a dvd player + movies available in the den! Overall? Great week at the Gruene River Haven!???

Everything was well taken care of no issues. Beautiful views and peaceful. We definitely enjoyed our stay.
