The Carolina Place, walking distance to downtown

This is the first time we have stayed in a B&B like property. The house was well stocked with items such as plastic wrap, laundry powder, dishwasher pill, coffee, tea bags, coffee machine capsules paper towels and toilet paper - stuff we expected to have to buy. The availability of these items is probably dependent on the previous guests excess purchases they chose not to take with them.

Super nice place, we felt like we we at home. We can't wait to go back, we're already checking our calendar.

This is the perfect little cottage for a quick weekend or extended stay with friends or family in the beautiful town of West Jefferson! Literally within walking distance to downtown and The Town Tavern and the best little boutique shops around! Easy parking, comfortable beds, cozy living room, and all around great place to call “home” for a few days!

This is my wife and I 3rd or 4th time staying. The home is always very clean and has everything you need. The bed a s sofa are very comfortable. The owner, Michelle, is very nice and easy to deal with. She is always quick to respond. Her hospitality is amazing. We will definitely be back before the year is out.

The home was perfect for a brief visit to my son and his family. I enjoyed the convenience of walking downtown for shopping, a glass of wine or bite to eat. Everything I needed was there and more! I especially enjoyed sitting on the porch with morning coffee and afternoon wine. Even it is close to town, it was very quiet!

Perfect! Great location, clean, every amenity we needed; coffee, cleaning supplies, extra blankets, good parking. Definitely would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here—the house was lovely and so comfortable, and we enjoyed being a short walk to downtown. We were sorry to leave and will definitely plan to stay here again!

This is our second time renting The Carolina Place and we love it so much that we’re definitely coming back in the future. Everything about this house is so easy. The house was wonderful as was the host. Perfect size the 2 couples with 2 beds and 2 full bathrooms. Loved that the bedrooms had luggage stands, no suitcases on the floor!The neighborhood was quiet and in walking distance to town, the hill going back to the house may be challenging for some.

I visit West Jefferson, often. This home was perfect. It was extremely clean with all necessities that a person needed. There were plenty of dishes/utensils in kitchen, a coffee pot, plenty of towels in bathrooms, and all furniture was comfortable. I would highly recommend this home for two couples or a family with children!

Everything was just perfect: cleanliness, easy check in/out, amenities, location. This will be our go to spot when visiting with family in the area.

We loved everything about this place! We split it with another couple so it was super affordable, its a lovely little place, lots of thoughtful extras (there were coffee grounds in the fridge, etc.), clean as a whistle and no hassle when its time to leave. Can't wait to go back as often as possible!

This property was a very nice place to stay. It had everything we could have needed. I really liked the layout and was very clean upon arrival. The location was great and we walked serval times into town. Definitely a place I will stay again and would recommend.

Upon arrival we were delighted to find such a beautiful property. We found it extremely comfortable, clean, fully equipped kitchen, tastefully decorated, great attention to detail. Located on a quiet street but within sight of downtown West Jefferson. We would certainly choose this property again in the future.

great place to stay close to down town just love the place

We were in town for our granddaughter’s birthday. From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described (and even better). The space was spotless, nicely decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast, and I appreciated the little extras like the coffee, and helpful hints around the home. The location was perfect—close to the cutest little downtown but still quiet and peaceful for a good night's rest.Communication with the host was top-notch. She was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and hassle-free stay. Thanks again for such a fantastic experience!

This home was so cute and quaint! Perfect for 4 adults. Will appointed kitchen. A short walk to downtown West Jefferson! Highly recommend and we would stay there again!

My wife and I like to get to WJ 1-2 times each year and stay here whenever possible. Great location, house is immaculate and Michele does a great job communicating. Look forward to coming back.

Love our place so handy to downtown so relaxing

The house was clean, cozy and felt like a home. They have everything you could possibly need and it's well organized so you're not searching for stuff. A short walk down the hill and you're in town. (Walking back up hill is great exercise)! The farmer's market is always a good time. Red Dog Bar & Bistro had good food and live music and we always hit Havana Cafe when in W. Jefferson. We've booked 4 other VRBOs in W. Jefferson and this is the best so far. Thanks Michele

This is the 2nd time my friend and I stayed here while attending a workshop. This home is perfect for us with two bedrooms and two baths. It is quiet, has a well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. At the end of the day, it is a great place to come back and relax, but close enough to town and restaurants.if you wanted to check them out.
