The house was beautiful and clean. We were able to walk to the Aquarium of the Pacific, in less than 30 minutes. There are some homeless in the area, but felt safe in the day, we didn't really go out at night. There was 1 parking space. During the day parking is easy, but later it gets hard to find a spot. I saw an earlier review that mentioned a shortage of silverware and only 1 dishtowel. There are 6 forks, 1 large spoon, one small spoon and 1 dishtowel and 1 washcloth. There are 3 plastic wine glasses. So, other than being short on some items, it was a very nice stay. There is a Mexican restaraunt a couple blocks away that is good.

Decent Old Triplex house. There are 2 other tenants in the building. Provided Parking would not work with a large SUV. Not really that close to the beach if you’re planning on walking there with kids.

We had the most amazing stay here in LB! It was the perfect house for our family as we prepared for our daughters wedding! The location was so convient! We took beautiful pictures, had family come visit, just perfect!

The house was in a convenient location and fit our family well. It is an older home but captures the charm of Long Beach. The space and washer/dryer were great features. Two full baths that were clean and conviently located. Each bedroom had stand up fans. Check in was easy. The major downfall was the A/C didn't work and it was 90 outside No coffee was a disappointment as well. Luckily there is a donut shop within walking distance. There was also a musty smell but the home was clean. Parking was tight with a new Tahoe and we arrived back after being out to a car in the assigned middle spot.

It was easy checking in and out. Glad I did not have a rental car because the spot that would have been for us was occupied when we arrived. Parking was chaotic to say the least when we arrived. That being said it seemed to be a nice area. We only stayed one night prior to a cruise and arrived late so did not get to explore much. Would stay again though for sure.

The house was perfect! We had five people in our party. Just stayed for one night prior to our cruise. House is super close to carnival terminal, about 25 minutes to Royal Caribbean terminal. Able to easily walk to the beach, and several great restaurants in the area! Parking the car was a new experience, due to laws, you cannot block the sidewalk, so the back of the car sticks out a little on the side street. The host sent a picture of how to manage the parking, so that was super helpful! We did not use any of the kitchen supplies other than the coffee pot. Filters were provided, we brought our own coffee grounds, sweeteners and creamer. Very clean! Was worth the money and I do recommend this cute place.

I’m just gonna start by saying I travel a lot for work and frequently use rentals. The first red flag for me was I didn’t get the check-in notification details. I had to reach out and ask for them an hour before check-in so that I could get in.Upon requesting for these details, I get a photo of how to park in the designated parking spot. The designated parking spot is for a small vehicle only and also requires you to park halfway in the driveway. Apron leaving your vehicle halfway in the road. Yes this is a downtown area and yeah, parking is don’t plan on bringing more than one vehicle. The rest of our party ended up staying elsewhere because they couldn’t park. There was no parking. This is my biggest issue and I believe that the listing should’ve provided in the photos. The parking in the details about the parking are very specific I would never have rented this place. Had they been honest about the parkingThe house was very cold. Couldn’t find a thermostat anywhere to turn the heater on. There was nice that heavy blanket blankets, but the floor was extremely cold. Upon asking, if there was a heater, the answer I got was yes and not how to use it where to find it how to turn it on or anything.Next to the upstairs hot water just don’t even bother by the time it heats up it won’t be very hot and you won’t want to use it anymoreIt is also a townhome I don’t feel like this listing was very accurate and pretty deceitful.

Host was responsive. It is a very charming house, is old but charming. Message to the host ; the chairs in the bedroom just above the main entry door have a strong musky smell and I think could use a good cleaning or replacement. The smell was a bit strong

Great location, lovely and spacious townhouse with reserved parking spot. Comfortable beds and modernized bathrooms. Washer dryer was nice to have. We used the private courtyard dining area for all our meals, lovely. No dishwasher and light kitchen equipment but we brought enough stuff to easily have a thanksgiving feast for 6. Great stay!

Overall, offers lots of space for everyone to have their own room, eat and play games together at the table, and relax in the living room. We also enjoyed being close to many attractions including the aquarium, whale watching tours, shoreline village, Queen Mary and USS Iowa, short walk to the beach, and much more.

Very quaint and charming home. Great location close to the beach, activities, and restaurants! The only con is that parking is EXTREMELY limited, especially at night. There is one parking spot for the unit, the rest is first come, first serve street parking and I circled for about 30 mins at night before getting lucky with someone pulling out of a spot finally.

I rented this property because I wanted to be close to Shoreline Drive. It's a great location - easy to get around by car or on foot. The unit is one of three in the building, which wasn't entirely clear in the listing. The other two units are apartments. The bathrooms and kitchen have been recently renovated and it's clear that the whole house has had a once-over, but it does look, feel, and smell like an old house. Nothing wrong with it - it doesn't smell bad, just to be clear - just old. Light sleepers should be aware that the floors are pretty but very, very creaky. Plan to bring your own toiletries as none were out for us. Parking is a little weird - you park halfway in the driveway, halfway in the street. This means that the longer your car, the more you risk either getting a ticket by blocking the sidewalk or getting hit by a passing car by being too far in the street. Again, not wrong, just weird. If you want an old, big house with a great location, this is a great choice. There are a few details and upgrades that would bring this up to five stars, but it's perfectly good as it is.
