INTERNET INFORMATION/POLICY..PLEASE NOTE:
**We strive to provide the best internet service we can get here in the very rural Methow Valley. Internet speeds vary throughout the valley and outages or tech issues can occur that Methow Reservations nor the owners have no control over, and for these reasons NO REFUNDS are given if the internet is problematic. Should you have an issue with internet service, please send us a message through VRBO describing the problem. We will then contact you to troubleshoot. If the issue is not resolved, we will then contact the internet provider, and/or homeowner. Please note... our valley is very rural and getting service personnel to fix things in a timely manner can be a challenge. We rent lodging, not office space. Public internet is available at the Winthrop library with enhanced internet speed (parking lot or inside the library). Alternatively, for a fee you can go to the Dropzone in downtown Winthrop. Thank you for your understanding!
WINTER INFORMATION:
**Should you travel to the Methow during the winter months it is important to understand that you must be prepared for winter driving(keep chains, shovel...in the car). If it snows while here you will have to wait for plow service just like every other person in the valley. There are a limited number of plow companies and we can not make them show up any faster than they are able. They have many different contracts and many miles of roads, driveways...to plow. If a plow person or a snow shoveler shows up to clear any area around the house, please do not argue with them or turn them away. Move your vehicles if asked. Your cooperation and patience are required especially after any significant snow accumulation. Should you get stuck you can call Classic Towing in Twisp, WA
**Propane Fireplace--should there be tech issues or the propane fireplace upon your arrival please send a message through VRBO. We will try to troubleshoot and remedy the problem. If the problem requires a part or there is an issue with the propane company that may take longer that your stay, NO REFUND will be given.
Lovely, well-equipped house in a quiet, private setting. We all enjoyed our stay.
What a gem! We stayed in this wonderful home with our children and grandkids. They had the upstairs to themselves and we slept downstairs. We were all amazed at the size of the interior which is misleading from the outside. Great layout and LOVED the walk-in closets in ALL the rooms! We brought our bikes and really enjoyed the direct trail access from the home. Our 3 year old grandson practiced casting from the back porch with his new fishing rod (no hook). Then we headed out to the river so he could cast into the water. What a great memory that is for us! We were able to ride our bikes into town for a bite to eat at the local restaurant which was so good! We all were ready to move there by the end of our trip. Your home was just perfect in so many ways. Well stocked everything! We will come back for sure.
Great property. Well equipped kitchen. Close to many hikes and outdoor activities. Weather was over 100 degrees during our stay. Wooded lot, ceiling fans and extra standing fans helped keep us cool.
Such a beautiful location. Great hiking near by. We swam in the river. Nice little store with gifts and local food and beer. Perfect vibe. Lots of wildlife to see also. Trail right outside the door. We had a wonderful time.
Excellent location in North Cascades; well-maintained property; kitchen that has everything; local access to nice walking trails; easy access to North Cascades hiking trails. Very nice stay.
Great
The house was everything we hoped it would be. The kitchen had everything you needed and then some. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Large closets as well. The bathrooms were upgraded and very nice as well. My group would definitely come back and stay here again. Not to mention the deer that roam around out in front. The setting in the trees it’s quiet relaxing and just what we were looking for
Every morning, we skied straight from the front door - Methow Valley trails - along Goat river and beyond. The house was spotless, beds were so comfortable, lots of cozy seating around the fireplace. And it was so peaceful- wind in the pines and powder soft snowfall. The view from every location in this house is breathtaking. Big soaking bath tub for post-ski warm up. The view even from the bath tub is beautiful lol. Just wonderful. Too wonderful to even describe.
We had a blast! Shopped in town, hiked, relaxed in the big soaker tub. House was clean. Saw deer right outside in the trees. It was a great time. I hope to rent it again sometime.
A nice, clean cabin with lots of space and good privacy.
