Our stay at Bower House was so enjoyable, it exceeded our expectations. Everything was spotless, warm and welcoming. We were able to have a fire which was so lovely on the cold wet days of our stay. The garden was also wonderful and we were captivated by little wrens that flitted through.

This was a beautiful house in a lovely setting in the bush, with paths and lawn that kangaroos visit, big trampoline, and plenty of birds. It had big rooms.cumfy clean beds and all that you would need for 2 nights. However the place had so many spiderwebs in windows and wardrobes, including a redback spider near the dishwasher. We had to wash cutlery, coffee machine and toaster before use. The lounges had rubbish under cushions, things on floors under beds. Obviously not been cleaned. And there is a cleaning fee which is not cheap. The people before us would have paid it. and I also have paid a cleaning fee. Yet the place needs a deep clean. And it wasn't a good first impression to have the garage and courtyard full of leaves.I feel they should have been removed before our arrival. It is suggested to remove rubbish from kitchen in case of ants but there wasn't anywhere to put the rubbish, and no replacement bags. Once we got over these things, we got down to enjoying our stay. Thank you.
