Spacious home with a great view. Kitchen was well stocked and even had spices and condiments. We especially liked starting each morning having coffee in the sunroom enjoying the beautiful lake view. Close proximity to hiking, biking and hot springs. We had a few questions which the owner promptly responded to. It was a lovely experience, and we would definitely stay again.

We had the best time staying at this beautiful cabin. We traveled with our two young children and appreciated little touches for them like a stool in the bathroom to make it easier to wash hands. The location is absolutely stunning. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed and organized. The host was communicative and helpful. Everything was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors seemed friendly. We loved our time at this cabin and are already dreaming of coming back.

We had a great week at the cabin!! The location is perfect for hikes in the National Park. The cabin was clean and very well cared for. We enjoyed the kayaks on the lake and the views were so peaceful. Casey was easy to work with and mindful of whatever we needed. This was our 2nd trip here and we’re looking forward to a 3rd in the future. Thanks for a great trip!

This home is truly fantastic all around. The location on the lake is simply stunning, the views cannot be beat. The home was fully stocked with everything our group of four could ever need, including kitchen supplies, linens, movies and even lifejackets for use with the kayaks. The house itself is super cute and cozy with lots of fun details and very helpful labeling of lights, cabinets etc. Also communication with the host was seamless. We will definitely stay here again.

This cabin (and location) was perfect! We booked at the last minute and we were not disappointed. All of our expectations were met and then surpassed. The cabin is a place that has been deeply loved and cherished. I felt honored to be a guest. Every inch of the cabin is cared for. Everything is labeled and easy to find. The beds are so comfortable! And the view is fantastic. We went on several hikes during our stay and we loved that we never had to drive far to get to our destinations! More time at the cabin, more time on the lake, and less time in the car! Everything was perfect! We’d love to return in the future. And the owners were incredibly responsive with any questions we had! It was a perfect weekend. Thank you!

This beautiful cabin was perfect for our family trip that included 5 adults and a baby. This is three levels but not steep stairs and baby gates were provided as well as a highchair. Our baby was too small to enjoy the secret kids room but it would be great for Little's a bit older. The best was that all guest rooms had their own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and organized and has a fantastic gas range for the gourmet cook. The roomy main living area includes a kitchen table but you will definitely want to use the sunporch with gorgeous views of the dreamy lake. We enjoyed the use of kayaks in the mornings when the sun was just up. This is a very quiet neighborhood and it is important to respect the environment as I think many of the neighbors live there full time. I appreciate that the owner/manager was a great communicator. Location is a bit tricky to get to but follow the directions given in the rental communication and then it is easy after your first drive in. Port Angeles is near by and we also visited Sequim and Port Townsend, and had a great hike at Hurricane Ridge. Next time The Ho Rainforest is on our To Do list. This cabin is now one of our families very favorites!

We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this lakefront property. The house was fully stocked with everything you need and we were extremely comfortable. We used it as our home base for Olympic National Park hiking and it was wonderful to come back to a home away from home. We will definitely be back.

The lake property was beautiful. We stayed here to visit the national park. The house was stocked with plenty of cookware and dishes for the family . We didn’t have a chance to use the kayaks, but maybe next time .

The house and lake, is an amazing getaway spot. Everything is organized and label for easy access and use. Kitchen well stocked and great for gathering around the island.Check - in was clear and easy.

Great cabin right on the water. We enjoyed lake time on the dock and with the provided kayaks. Easy drive into Port Angeles and far enough into the park to be closer to hikes. The cabin is spacious with bedrooms for everyone in our family of 4. The view from the sunroom is awesome and complimented the views we had after hiking all day in Olympic National Park.

This was a family vacation (14 total) and we were able to book two places near each other. My family of four and my dad & his wife stayed here and it was excellent for what we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. The deck and patio was great for evenings watching the kids swim or kayak in the lake. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Olympic National Park.

Beautiful cozy spot on the lake. Perfect home away from home to explore Olympic! We enjoyed making a fire every night, cooking in the fully stocked kitchen and having our meals out in the lake view sunroom. Stunning views! Casey was a very responsive and attentive host! Highly recommend!

Our family of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) had an absolutely magical stay at this peaceful lake house! The location was perfect—close to Olympic National Park for day trips, yet tucked away enough to feel like our own private retreat. The house had everything we needed and more—great amenities, super clean, and truly all-inclusive.The kids loved kayaking and fishing right off the dock, and the adults enjoyed relaxing by the water and taking in the serene surroundings. Communication with the owners was top-notch—they were kind, responsive, and always available to help or answer questions.This home exceeded our expectations and created special memories for our whole group. Lovely cabin with the best view ever!

We had such a great time using this lovely house as a home base for our Olympic National Park vacation. We enjoyed coming back here after a day exploring the parks, and a couple of days centered our afternoons at the house relaxing and kayaking. The house was exactly as described, very clean, comfortable and well stocked with little touches. Casey was very communicative and helpful with information. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in nature but still very close to Port Angeles and several park areas. The drives to the beaches and rainforests were easy as well, within a couple hours. Thanks for an amazing trip!

Lake Sutherland is a beautiful place with close access to all the best hikes. This place was perfect for our 8 person group and the waterfront view was breathtaking at sunset and sunrise!

Our family had a wonderful stay.

It’s a spacious property in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The house is on the lake with a dock and a bubbling creek running through it. The house itself has multi-levels, and is fully stocked, making it perfect for family gatherings. We were out on kayaks, boats and stand-up paddle boards every day and had easy drives to hiking in the Olympic National Park.

We had a lovely stay in the home with plenty of room to spread out, a beautiful kitchen for cooking, and gorgeous views.

Host was very accommodating, and the house was simply the best!Due to unforeseen weather, we needed to move our trip up a day. This was not an issue, host was very responsive.The house itself is wonderful, located on the corner lot of a gated community. Very quiet and peaceful - but still tons to do! We loved taking the kayaks out for the day.

Remote and tranquil, waking up to the view of the lake and mountains each morning is unbeatable. The house had everything we needed to feel comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend to go skiing at hurricane ridge with friends. Weather was horrible but having a nice house to come back to with a fireplace to dry the gear was very nice.

We spent 10 nights here over the holidays. We couldn't have chosen a better place. We enjoyed wonderful slow days reading, playing games, watching football, kayaking, cooking and taking in the beautiful views. The fireplace was so nice to have for the cozy winter days. This home has so many wonderful touches, it's hard to list them all. The kitchen was fully stocked with every item you could need. They also have an amazing and unexpected array of pantry items and spices. The coffee nook was great, the chef quality stove was so nice for cooking big meals, and there was adequate storage for our own dry goods/food so we didn't have to have things sitting out on the counter all week (sometimes an issue in other VRBOs). It was great for two adult couples, but I can see this would be a great place for families with children, as well. There were games and movies, puzzles, and the cute hidden room would be so fun if you were a kid. Communication with the owner was great. We would love to come back here in the summer and experience this home during the warm season, too! Thanks Casey and Allison for the wonderful stay!

This cabin exceeded our expectations. We had a one and three year old and it was very child friendly, which is a huge bonus as a parent!! The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the cabin and property are insanely beautiful! Even in November we took the kayaks out on the lake. We also loved the games for family game nights!

The view, the house, the area and the nice comforts given within the home make this a terrific bargain for what you get. Hope to return in the future.
