Beach Shack by name only, this well presented three bedroom house has ocean views with an open plan living area. The front verandah faces an open lawned area and of course, the ocean views.

The large open living area has large windows, dining, lounge and sitting spaces. Bedroom 1 has an ensuite bathroom. The rear verandah area is protected and has a BBQ and seating. The shared bathroom is combined with the laundry.

The beach is 400m away, and a short stroll.

The Space:
Ideal for families. The spacious open plan living area, combined with undercover outdoor areas makes for versatile living, all the while with ocean views.

The Neighborhood:
Located in a quieter part of town, it is a short stroll to the beach. The river, country club and stores are also located within walking distance.

Getting Around:
Guilderton is a small village and easy to get around, and walk around. Nature trails take in the estuary, dunes areas and endless beach. Most services and amenities are within walking distance.

    It was too hot inside the house to even consider staying, contacted the owner but didnt get a reply. Walked out the door, locked up and drove 2 hours back home as the temperature was unbearable inside

    This house was basically clean, just ! I had to clean out the kitchen bins, the whole of the fridge, but refused to clean out the bottom freezer draw of sticky ice! My husband had to clean the BBQ so we could cook our meat on it ! The shower attached to the main bedroom had such a bad hot water supply, we all used the other shower in the walk through laundry. The cupboard in that bathroom was unusable as it was so dirty... and I refused to clean it out!The slabs on the back veranda area, are very old and damaged and uneven, that it is a potential hazard for tripping by anyone, older or children, and needs to be re-levelled. Otherwise, the rest of the house was ok and warm and the kitchen table area / lounge room was quite pleasant with a slim view of the ocean. We may not choose to ask for this house when booking again at Guilderton ... which is a disappointment.

    Watching the ocean, sea breeze, walk to beach and river mouth. Main bed was very comfortable. Oven and cooktop needed a wipe down otherwise very clean.

    The house is a great location, comfortable and a great view. Clean and tidy and suits a small families needs. The communication with the owner was good

    The owners have done a good job with renovating the shack. The lounge/dining area is a game changer for the house, it's ideal to use to keep out of the wind. A nice family area. And if not windy, it's nice to sit on the front porch. Just be aware of the steepish driveway - especially if you are towing a boat.
