The Barn Haus ~ unique Hill Country experience, Hot Tub and Pet Friendly!

It was very clean and comfortable. It had some very nice features. Would highly recommend this property!

The Barn Haus was super cute and perfect for our short trip to Boerne. It was clean, bright, and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of linens and blankets to make it feel like home. The Dove skin and hair products was a definite bonus and much appreciated after our long day outside. The hosts were great and checked in on us - to make sure we had what we needed. I highly recommend and would stay again the next time I’m in town.

Spent a great get away weekend here and it couldn’t have been any better especially being a pet friendly place!

Perfect size house for our 3 person family! Very clean! Had lots of kid friendly activities available like board games, basketball court, and outdoor games like connect 4 and darts! Hot tub was a major plus for us after doing a lot of walking exploring neighboring towns! Would definitely book this place again!

This place was amazing and perfect for Boerne, right on the outside of town. Great amenities and wonderful house. This was a great place to stay.

The property was exactly as advertised on VRBO, with the added bonus of being dog-friendly! The owners were incredibly responsive to our questions, such as confirming charcoal availability for the grill and locating the living room fireplace remote. We easily picked up charcoal at the HEB Plus in town—a quick 15-min drive—and found the remote right on the table once they pointed it out. The owners provided a detailed PDF brochure of the rental, perfect for someone like me who loves to research ahead of time. The pet policy allowed for two dogs up to 50lbs; our two pups were well within the limit. For this trip, we opted for the smaller of the two rentals since it was just the two of us and our dogs, but we are eyeing the property with the arcade room for a future group visit. The rental is packed with every amenity you could need:Kitchen: Oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher & all necessary cookware you could think ofComfort: A/CHeat, ceiling fans & a very comfortable bed (also bunk beds & a couch bed--did not use since it was only 2 of us)Tech: Numerous Smart TVs, reliable WIFI (perfect for checking in on work) & numerous charging portsOutdoors: Hot tub, grill, fire pit, basketball court & plenty of gated, private acreage to exploreConvenience: blow dryer, desk, iron, washer/dryerThis was truly a home away from home. Close enough to town for supplies & sightseeing, yet private enough to totally zone out & relax. Thanks for a wonderful stay—we can't wait to come back!

We loved our stay in The Barn Haus during our visit to the hill country! The property is just a nice as the photos and it was such a great layout with everything you need and more. The backyard was spacious and the basketball court was a great bonus so my son could shoot a few hoops w/ my husband to wind down at the end of the day! The location was a highlight as well… The house is a fast and direct drive into town, but tucked far enough away to enjoy the peace and calm away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Everything was so well thought out and we loved our stay and will definitely stay here again when we come into town! Thank you for sharing your property with us!

The hot tub was on and ready! They replaced our propane tank so the firepit was fabulous. This property is EXACTLY as described and the most pleasant stay possible.

Great place! Brought our two boys to Texas to see family. They were just as excited to stay at the house then they were to do anything else. Great setup. Very welcoming. When we come back to the area, we will definitely do it again.

Wonderful stay! The property was beautifully finished, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, hot tub was so relaxing. We were able to see deer while sitting on the front porch.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodations were great and the location was relaxing. Will definitely consider staying again. The host made sure we had everything we needed, which we did and then some.

Our stay was absolutely amazing at the Barn Haus. The hot tub did not disappoint. The children loved the outdoor games. They were also impressed w the bunk bed set up w their own TVs and night lights! Kevin and Audrey were awesome checking in making sure we had everything we needed before and during our stay. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area

This is our second stay on the property but our first in the Barn Haus. The house was immaculately clean. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. We really enjoyed the privacy of the outdoor space. My husband will tease me for this but, I was really impressed with the construction of the stairs. They were easy to go up and down and were very well lit at night. They also had additional gripping to ensure you didn’t lose your footing. The owners have really thought of everything! The property would be fantastic to have a multi family gathering because the houses are close but still allow everyone to have their own space when needed. Overall we had a great time!

The place was great. The two downfalls I would say would be how close they are to the other VRBO on the property and the permanent residence. But I will say, we were not bothered and did not see the neighbors often. The other thing was the couch looked dirty. I am not sure if it was the coloring but it was light colored and looked like it could of used a wiping.

So clean and extremely quiet

My wife and I were looking for a weekend getaway in Hill Country and came across the property. As we were traveling with our 2 dogs it was a little difficult finding a property that fit our needs. My wife found the Barn Haus and it was perfect. It is unique as it is the top of a barn that was built out and it was great. The owners really did a great job. Very comfortable and well done. The property was just outside Boerne and it's a great place. The backyard is fenced which was great for our dogs to run around in. There's a hot tub which we may try next time, August heat and hot tub didn't go well for me. There's a grill, darts, and cornhole in the yard. The yard is also lit up nicely and the fencing in the back is wire to allow you to see some deer and wildlife. Check in was easy and the property is gated. The owners were wonderful. This was our first trip to Boerne and we loved the town. We will be back!

We had an amazing time during our stay. I loved how all the switches and remotes were labeled. My children really liked the outside games and basketball court.

Kevin has an incredible set up at the Barn Haus in the beautiful hill country! We had the absolute best time. Everything is so thoughtfully designed with everything you could possibly need as well as EVERYTHING labeled which was so helpful. We really enjoyed the property. We hung out in the backyard, enjoyed the hot tub, and played a couple of rounds of basketball. It was the best time, and we will definitely return. Thank you for the best stay!

The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and the location was close to everything we wanted to do and visit (wineries, elephants, relatives in Kerrville). The hot tub was also an added bonus! I recommend staying here to anyone!

Great place to stay and very clean and easy to get to and from for the Boerne area. Very pet friendly and peaceful at night. Great backyard for games and hot tub.

The Barn Haus is a phenomenal property! Everything is clean and well put together. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal! Our kids loved the bunk beds and the king bed was comfortable. The area is remotes and VERY safe! Highly recommend for families!

Everything was perfect! The place is just as advertised, we didn't need anything. I love that everything was labeled so you didn’t have to find out what switch goes to what. Beautiful property, off the hwy, but very close to the main strip. We definitely stay here again.

We LOVED having fun in this cozy space. We spent as much time outside playing basketball and darts, chillin’ in the hot tub, and sitting by the fire as we could. The space is perfect for a family of 5-6 and they had everything we needed! Thank you so much!

We spent two nights at the Barn Haus. It is such a lovely place, nicely decorated with all the comforts you could want! The outdoor area was truly magical-- the hot tub is nice and large; there's a big TV and fire pit and games to play. It's far enough away from any city that you can see lies of stars on a clear night! It's very close to downtown Boerne, which was a cute place to walk around on a Sunday afternoon. The host was perfect and left good instructions and was communicative about everything we needed.

I booked the Barn Haus for a surprise anniversary trip to Boerne and it was so nice and cozy! Pet friendly is a plus so we didn’t have to figure out a dog sitter. The place has great amenities and everything we needed for an amazing stay. The hosts were also very nice and communicative, highly recommend!

The barn house was a great relaxing place for my wife and I to explore Boerne, TX. We enjoyed the hot tub and even shooting baskets. Everything worked great!
