The Barn at Asa Stone Farm offers the aesthetic traveler a unique balance between history and modernity, luxury and rusticity. Resurrected sustainably, the 1839 timber frame holds ageless beauty and warmth.
Enjoy a refined and private stay as the barn gazes out on a 120 acre apple orchard, extending to multiple horizons and meadows. Set in the coast’s embrace, the barn is five minutes from the expansive 2,100-acre coastal Crane estate, including the four mile Crane Beach. Nearby trails make for endless exploration of sand dune, salt marsh and conserved land. Natural wonder and a historical setting combine to allow easy discovery of the defining features of Cape Ann.
This property was exactly as listed, beautiful! We were welcomed by fresh cut flowers and eggs from the farm. Apples from abutting orchard were supplied as well. Hard to beat location surrounded by scenery where farm meets the sea, peaceful and serene. We were just minutes from beautiful beaches, trails, and restaurants. This location had easy access to all this scenic area holds. It was hard to leave! Communication with our host, Amy was excellent. She greeted us upon arrival to introduce us to this perfectly converted barn home and to answer any questions we may have. Amy and Jacob were a pleasure to meet, not intrusive, but warm and welcome to conversation. We had plenty of space for our family and all amenities were top notch. No doubt, we will return in the future.
