Texas Tiki | Pet Friendly, Private Pool, Tiki Bar!

The house was as pictured. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 kids. Everyone loved spending time in/around the pool on Sunday. Wish the heater was working so we could have enjoyed it more. The outdoor seating area was perfect for all of us!

The description could've been better as it didnt fit our families sleeping arrangements. It could've been cleaner. We had a few maintenance & cleaning issues that shouldve been caught and fixed before we arrived. The ones we mentioned to the staff were addressed & responded to them quickly. They staff was friendly

Our stay at Texas Tiki was just what we had hoped for, we enjoyed the backyard atmosphere and the pool was fantastic!The description of the property was spot on with the information that was provided and we had plenty of space to enjoy watching football and cooking meals.We want to do a shout out for Miss Kitty's team members that followed through on a few request we had, they were very helpful.

This location was perfect for our group of friends to get together.

Wonderful home to get away to. Be sure to ask management for some extra towels before your visit.

Check-in things look great arrived at 4:45 to our surprise someone was still there cleaning past 4 our checkin time, trash can had not been emptied with no bag so just trash in the can, pillows were absolutely disgusting dishes were still in the dishwasher, the pool was filthy. Spoke with the property representative she apologized and pool cleaners were there the next day. Outdoor back patio had lots of fun outdoor activities, darts, a beautiful swimming pool, tv with great outdoor lighting system. NOTHING WORKED!! All the darts were broken, the television & lights did not work, & the swimming pool was unusable and needed a part. There was a dead bird & garbage all around the property, all of the pillows were absolutely GROSS stained with mildew & mold. The response from Miss Kitty’s - I completely understand, but as per rental agreement, the condition of Amenities are not 100% guaranteed at check in time, thats why we ask if something is not as its advertised, to contact us so we may be able to correct them. (so glad she text me this) and a 300 refund I just can’t believe it my husband & I have never dealt with this sort of situation with Miss Kitty’s (down hill)

We’ve always enjoyed this house. The pool is so big and the neighborhood is so quiet. It’s close to everything and the prop mgr/Miss Kitty group is always so responsive. Another great trip in the books

Great stay

The house has plenty of seating. The pool was great. And the view and location was amazing. Very quiet, very peaceful. All rhe stores and restaurants were near by. Couldn't have been better. The pictures were just as explained in the listing . Would recommend this place to anyone.

First impression: quiet neighborhood, great access to things around town, great layout to house, and ample parking. Upon settling in we found the house to be in great need of TLC. Sun room had significant water damage to floors near the back door, possibly from the ac split unit that was leaking so bad there are bowls and moldy towels on the book shelf under it. One of the electrical outlets in the room had water coming out if it! AC intake grates for main house were caked with dust and filter was last changed in nov 2023-it was completely falling apart. Beds in main house were old, lumpy, stained and pillows were lumpy and stained. Bathroom rugs were dirty and bed linens had a smell. We spend first day at the house doing laundry. Pool was dirty when we arrived and area along fence was littered with beer cans. Bbq area was flooded with muddy, moldy water from broken gutter downspout that wasnt redericted rain awater appropriately. Downstairs bar area had roaches and couches were dirty and exploded with mosquitos when we moved pillows around. We enjoyed our time there but the house needs some TLC and refreshing.

Great place to stay cool on the pool and get all the family together easily

The family enjoyed our stay and found the house very spacious. And the pool was awesome! So many great memories were made during our stay.

Overall nice house. It would have been nice to know the kitchen did not have 9x13 for casseroles, no salt no pepper and no extra trash bags. We had 10 guests and the only trash cans that we could use were the size of a bathroom can. The trash was full at the street the entire time. The AC thermostat and upstairs wasn’t marked as such so the people who stayed upstairs were hot. Didn’t realize the downstairs rooms were totally separate from the upstairs. You might add to your site, the missing items I listed. Except for the back patio, when we arrived everything was clean.

The inside was very clean & outside was a little dirty, but Rockport had just had the remains of hurricane Alberto pass with major flooding. Pool was awesome & kitchen had lots of utensils for cooking. Good internet & tv. No issues with house at all. Have 3 suggestions: (1) The sun room mini-split needs a drain. Had to drain drip pans every day. Did not know about them & noticed water on floor. I think it is destroying floor area in front of side door. (2) Could not find a book to sign. Other places have guest books with house rules & notes from all the travelers. (3) Trash cans were 3’ off road & they did not pick up. I pulled them to street. A book with house rules would have covered that. I know it was covered in portal, but did not read till after trash day. All in all, great trip & would love to come back again!

Awesome house

Great house for a girls weekend. The twelve of us enjoyed the pool all day. The house is roomy and the AC works great. We had a great time staying here. I just wish the house came with with more kitchen stuff like pots, pans and other random things like foil. The only casserole dish I could find was a 9x9.
