It was a delight to stay in such a peaceful, secluded location. There is an authentic feel about the place. If you want to see lots of other tourists and enjoy noisy nightlife, this is not the place for you. If you want to relax and feel peaceful, you will love it. It is compact but lovely. I was originally concerned about a lack of air conditioning but it was absolutely fine. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. We loved our stay. The host kept in touch and was most helpful. Dominica also made us welcome and made it clear that she was available should any issues arise. They didn't. The pool is quite small but perfect for my 8 year old to play in. There is plenty of outdoor space. There is a lovely view of Mt. Teide. There is an all weather football pitch at the bottom of the hill and used most days, but actually it is quite pleasant listening to them having fun. The noise is not frequent or excessive. Playa de Bullollo has fabulous black sand but challenging waves. We loved it. Playa de Rojas is rocky but accessible down a narrow road and quite spectacular. We shopped at Lidl in Santa Ursula and didn't eat out because it was just so nice to be 'at home'

My Wife and I spent two weeks in this lovely little place. Relatively private with nice views and beautiful framed sunsets You'll need a car unless you like hiking hills. The nights are still a little cool (not as cold as the pool in march ?) so take a jumper (not in the pool) All in all it was just what the doctor ordered and will definitely stay there again. Thank you for accepting our booking at the last minute too ? Kindest regards Jackie and Kev

The property was situated in a beautiful area, with stunning views. The accommodation is spacious and the kitchen very well equipped. The garden and swimming pool are lovely. The soft furnishings are a little dated but everything was clean and tidy. There is a very good restaurant within walking distance Los Angeles. It would be helpful to have some information at the accommodation about the local attractions, bus timetable and taxi numbers. There are other lovely restaurants nearby but you need to drive or arrange other transportation. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. Many thanks.

The villa is well equipped and has a pretty, well maintained garden. The owner Roland Burek is very helpful (although his English is limited - google translate helped!) The TV channels are mostly German. The main villa has 2 double bedrooms and there is a little separate building at the other end of the driveway with a 3rd bedroom and ensuite shower room - known as the guest house. This was ideal for us as our daughter and her boyfriend stayed there. There is a shower but no bath in the main villa too. The villa is set up a steep quiet road and mostly surrounded by green uncultivated hillside. There are various walks nearby, both over the hillside and at the paths (and steps) along the coast at La Rojas. The Los Angeles restaurant at the junction with the main road was one of the best we went to and great to have so close. On a map the villa looks close to both the sea and the motorway. Because of the cliffs / steep hillside however the villa is nowhere near sea level. Equally the motorway is quite a way further up the hillside so you don't hear it. The night sky was a treat on a clear night. We saw Venus, Mars and Jupiter - a first for us all. The only downside is the floodlights for the football pitch down the hill - and the enthusiastic players most evenings! The swimming pool with its surrounding terrace area and well maintained garden would be idyllic at a warmer time of year!

This was our 4th stay at the villa and we stay longer each time we rent it, which must be recommendation in itself. As we have family living in the north part of Tenerife, the villa is perfect for family to visit us. The space around the villa and sixe of the pool is ideal for families with children, or adults who want a quiet rural location. There is plenty of wildlife around and we were amazed at the owls that were sitting in the trees round the house in the evenings on this visit. Car recommended and there is secure parking inside the gates of the villa. Help is on hand from Dominga if needed, who meets and greets you. Gardens and pool maintained by regular visits from the gardener. Worth a visit on Sunday mornings to the Farmers Market in La Matanza. #If you speak Spanish it is certainly worth a visit to one of the Guachinchas (garage cafes) in La Matanza which serve good food and wine at incredibly cheap prices. Fantastic views of Mount Teide and down over the ocean. For me, it just lacks Wifi, oven and dishwasher which would make it absolutely perfect.

The location, size and privacy of this property were perfect for our stay. It is not often that you can park on the level in such steep terraine, so having a private driveway, with easy access, on the level was quite exceptional. We also liked the fact that there are no steep stairs/steps to climb which have found with many previous properties. Bedrooms were large enough, with superb amount of storage. Shower amazing and plenty of hot water. Kitchen well designed with as much crockery, cutlery and utensils that you would need. Good hob and microwave but unfortunately for me, no oven. Open lounge very light and spacious with incredible views over the sea and of Teide. The pool is very refreshing and a gardener keeps the pool and garden immaculate. Outside space is plenty big enough and safe for children. We had extra guests for the start of our stay, so also used the separate apartment, which was a self contained bedroom with en suite facilities - very good. There are 3 good restaurants (Los Angeles, El Riego, La Hermita) within walking distance although it is uphill on the way back, so a car is really essential. Good bakery in El Sauzal and big supermarkets to choose from in Tacaronte and La Matanza, both of which are worth exploring. The villa overlooks a local football pitch which did not cause us any disturbance, but rather gave a bit of life to a very tranquil situation. Would definitely recommend this property. The only thing we missed was wifi to keep in touch with news and family on quiet evenings in at the villa, as all the TV channels are either German or French.

We recommend everyone to stay on the north side of Tenerife. And if you do, be sure to check the availability of this apartment. We stayed with 2 adults and 3 children and it was more than complete. Beds were good (very important to us), so was the furniture (both inside and outside). Bathrooms, kitchen and wash room were clean, all were equipped with modern appliances that worked, nothing failed. Although the water in the swimming pool was colder than we liked, the sun warmed it up quite nicely, so at the end of the day (after another exploration of this magnificent island) we dove in regularly and enjoyed this luxury that made the experience complete. The apartment is located only a 15 minutes drive from Puerto de la Cruz and 30 minutes away from Santa Cruz. Supermarkets are all around, as are very good bakeries (try them). An excellent restaurant (Los Angeles) is very nearby (you pass it on your steep way up to the apartment). The view is beautiful with many very nice sunsets. Anything not good to report? We haven''t! Communication with the owner went smoothly. The local representative was polite and informative. Every week a nice local came to check the pool. We''re very satisfied we opted for Tenerife and this apartment. Regards, Family van der Reijden.
