Tanias Island Getaway 1

Overall we were very happy with the place. Anything I mentioned is not as criticism but rather as information to assist anyone planning to rent there. The apartment is one of two in a large garden in rural surrounds with plenty of non intrusive and entertaining visits from chicken and chicks, pigs and piglettes, and a few shy cats. The roosters however , were not such a favourite in the early hours! There is a supermarket within two minutes walk. The sea can be heard and is only five minutes walk. Lovely sunrises not sunsets. But not a beach suitable for swimming. Mûri beach is about 45 mins walk, or hire a car. The bedrooms are large with big cupboards and comfy beds . The pillows were not so comfy so you might want to take your own. The lounge , dinning room and kitchen are all perfectly adequate . Only drawback being the lighting is low, so a head torch for reading or board games is advised. The hot water, shower, washing machine and toilet all did their jobs very well. A decent broom and mop would have been a god send as we stayed for two weeks. The value is very good

This was a great little spot! A nice little place with everything you need. Close to the corner store & a short drive one way to town & the other way to the beach. I'll definitely book here again. Thanks Eddie!

Had a great stay at Tania’s Island Getaway. Easy check in, beautifully clean and perfect for our holiday. Plenty of room. Could cook if we wanted or eat out. Down a side road so no road noise. Would love to stay again.

Nice location. Lovely garden. Close to a service station/shop. Good coffee place along the road. Buses a bit hit and miss. We had bicycles, non e ones, good condition, shame about some of the roads. Relaxing and peaceful.

This is the third time I have used these premises and would use them again but the place needs some TLC - the kitchen utensils are old and past their use by date and the cups and glasses were all old and mismatched ( like somebodies left over old goods) A refresh is very needed!

Lovely, comfortable, easy access. Plenty of room for all of us. Comfortable beds to sleep in. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent accommodation

Spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds! Slight hiccup on arrival as changeover date and booking names had not been amended for the cleaner, so accommodation not ready, but after a chat with one of the checkout girls at the shop, soon had things back on track and resolved. Loved whale-watching on the beach and short hop on the bus to Miri and the lagoon. Loved visiting the cat sanctuary next door too! Would love to visit again and would recommend the accommodation.

tidy and quite may need to bring your own entertainment as tv and radio no reception but everything all good

The booking process is very simple and clear. The house is very neat and contained the basic neccessities, which is excellent. The location is nice, quiet and breezy. The property manager Eddie is awesome. He responded promptly to our messages. Thank you so much and keep up the wonderful service. We loved your place and would recommend it to anyone planning a holiday.
