Tangahoe - The Great Escape

Lovely comfortable and relaxing place to spend a few days. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Very nice place to stay. Clean and tidy. Nice big windows that looked out onto trees all around. Couches were comfy to sleep on. Kitchen and bathroom modern and in good order. Handy for the beach, playground and Queen Elizabeth Park. Would definitely stay again.

No problems with this property that couldn't be solved by reading the info package (doh!). No views of the beach or the sea, but a very easy and quick 2 minute walk to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at this cosy architecturally designed bach. It was better in real life than the photos. Super sunny during the day and we loved putting on the fire in the evenings as the sun went down. Well appointed with everything needed. Margaret was excellent to deal with and responded to all our messages promptly. Thank you for sharing this special place with us.

We keep coming back. Just the best of places for a couple to stay in Paekakariki. So spacious and well equipped that having guests in for a meal or get together is an easy option.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Although suburban Tangahoe felt secluded. Even though the wind was cold, the decks were very pleasant with the sun out, and the trees kept the wind (especially the southerly) away.

Lovely property nestled in bush. Couldn't see neighbours and very quiet. Host responded quickly to a small wifi issue and then followed up soon after. Paekakariki is one of our favourite places and we will be back to stay at this lovely whare again.

The perfect place for a couple of days escape - beautiful location and what an amazing space. I really appreciated the flexibility with check in and out times too. I'll definitely be back!
