Stayed Apr 8, 2025Situated on a steep slope, Tairua Treetops is in a quiet location. It has a warm and cosy timber interior with a lovely view from the balcony and was very comfortable for the three of us. Wifi connection was very easy. Just a few minutes' drive to shops and restaurants in Tairua.

Stayed Jan 5, 2025Tairua is a great little town and this comfy, rustic cabin is up the hill with lovely views from the top deck to the mountains and tidal inlet. Other than the deck (where we enjoyed morning coffees), the best part of the property is the little spa, which feels like it's in a jungle with big tropical plants surrounding it. We really had an awesome time in Tairua, the highlight being finding an octopus in a tide pool on the beach and watching it for half an hour. What an experience! We felt at home in this cabin and really appreciated the privacy, views, and the fact that Chris is a great host who accommodated a couple of our requests. Thank you!
