Sylvan Lake Cottage 1/2 block to beach

Great place to stay. Close to the beach. You will like it. Big enough for a big family to enjoy their time.

Property worked well for our family gathering for Thanksgiving weekend! One little glitch was, I didn’t expect stairs on the main floor which was a little difficult for mobility challenged! We were able to deal with it and had a great weekend!

Perfect spot… really is half a block from the beach and just a 5-10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants! We will be back :)

Great space for our foursome. Well appointed and location can’t be beat

The week went by so fast and we were all sad to leave. Having the extra bedroom in the basement as well as the large space gave our teenagers freedom to entertain themselves without the parents complaining about the noise. Top of the list of family moments were the beach and the Moo just around the corner and fishing along the peer. Alas! no catch. The house has every supplies needed. We just walked in and started to enjoy our stay. Hoping to come back next year.We had a few evenings around the fire-place as well and a great time when we hired boat.We are hoping to be back next year

Tara was a great host. The home was clean and as advertised. We were a family group, grandparents, adults and kids. This was a great place for family time all together and enough room for the kids and adults to play separately. Able to walk to the beach easily. Had a wonderful time.

Close to everything and great place with kiddos.

We had a wonderful stay! So close to the lake and the main beach drive. Walkable to all kinds of adventures for people of all ages. A great spot for family gatherings or a cozy quiet getaway.

Lovely home with well-equipped kitchen and 3 full baths. Surprise extra kitchen in the lower level! Fire pit and large deck for outside living. Very close to the beach and large playground. It worked well for our multigenerational family.

We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Day Haven! The highlights for us were:- lots of space for 4 kids and 8 adults- closeness to the beach was awesome- lots of parking- all the amenities we needed Highly recommend this property!

Enough space for the adults to have space. Outside is great area with lots of seating at table or around fire pit.Overall very enjoyable

Property was conveniently located by Sylvan Lake and lots of amenities near by.The house comfortably slept 7 people and could sleep 9.The host was tremendous in quickly responding to any of our questions and provided easy check in and check out.Our family would recommend this vacation home anytime.

Good spot, clean, well supplied, but needs upgrading and maintenance.

A good property.However the heat distribution in the basement suite in winter is poor. More blankets would be desireable as the common area is cool

We had a great time. The cottage was just a short walk away from the lake and the dog had fun running for her ball!

This past week at Tara's cabin was our second annual experience for our family which included two grandparents, four parents and four kids. Sylvan offers much to do and we tried it all: mini golf, go karts (most popular), the Widget, sitting on the beach, BBQing, walks, working out, x box (brought with us) and sitting by the firepit. Lazy Day Haven provided the base from where to operate and,given it's close proximity to downtown ( 1/2 block from ice cream: More Moo)and the beach, some of us tried different things at the same time. Great for a family holiday!!

The cottage was SO well stocked, clean. Our host was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to rent a cottage. And so close to the Main Street and lake area. I would rent this cottage again.

The property was perfect for 8 adults. Enough bathrooms and space for everyone to get ready for our family wedding. Location is great. It is an older home, the linoleum floor and treads are worn and dated.
