Stayed Jul 8, 2023Cottage was clean and nicely renovated with great amenities and strong WiFi. Paradise Properties team was awesome and made extra accommodations for parking our boat & trailer. They recommended the Clam Lake boat ramp with channel access to Torch Lake - about 10 mins from the house and less busy than the launches directly on Torch with ample parking. If you're planning to tow your boat up to the Torch/Elk Lakes area, this is a great place to stay.

Stayed Jul 1, 2023We enjoyed our stay at the cute yellow cottage! It is a walkable distance to Torch Lake and the main shopping stretch in Alden. The window air conditioner and fans provided worked perfectly. It was really nice to have an attached garage, washer and dryer, and a full kitchen. The wifi was great and especially helpful as cell coverage was spotty in the area. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed Aug 13, 2022This was such an amazing place to stay! It's about a block from the water which has absolutely beautiful sunsets or spend a night by the fire outside enjoying smores after grilling out (guilty)! It's about a block from shopping (all super cute shops), a grocery store, a really great restaurant, and a place to rent kayaks making it really convenient for most everything you'd need. We rented a pontoon boat for a day which was less than 10 mins away. About 40 mins from Traverse City - which was also a nice visit but wanted a more relaxing experience which this definitely was! It felt tucked away but very close to everything I was looking for making it the perfect vacation! The house itself has everything you'd need! It's very cozy and extremely clean! If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful, AND beautiful rental on Torch lake, this is a must!

Stayed Jul 30, 2022We loved our stay in the Cute Yellow Alden cottage! It is clean and has all the amenities we needed (especially love a place with washer/dryer!). The decor is lovely and the cottage has been updated and well maintained and the kitchen is modern and great to cook in. The cottage is a short walk to Lake St. where there are 3 public access points to beautiful Torch Lake. Alden is also a short walk so you can get ice cream at both locations and do your own taste test. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jul 16, 2022Everything we needed for our tour of the northern mitten. It’s central location in a quaint and quiet village made the perfect setting for us to wind down at the end of the day. Owners thought of everything needed for a home away from home.

Stayed Jul 2, 2022We have been to the Traverse City area multiple times. This was by far the most impressive cottage that we've stayed at. The viewing pictures were spot on! The little town of Alden was so sweet to us - beautiful views of the water from the pier. It's a must to have the ice cream. The way the little cottage felt was home,. We have a dog that stayed with us - he also felt like home there... My wife wants you to rename the cottage to the Little Sweetpea Cottage because of all your lovely sweetpeas in the back... Loved the place - one negative are the bushes when leaving the drive (they could use trimming) it's very dangerous to see when pulling away... That's it - would stay there maybe even own it if it became available -BEAUTIFUL PLACE
