Sweet Carolina - OIB

The house really was very nice overall. The communication with the owners were great. We really enjoyed the house, clean and inviting. The pool was amazing especially the cleaning service. I would say to update the description of bedrooms as that was off just a bit with updates they did. It was overall just a great time and experience. We would highly recommend

This house was fantastic and perfect for our family. You can easily accommodate 20+ people particularly if youve got older kids. Theres one bunk room that sleeps four little kids and another room with full size bunks that sleeps 6-10 older kids. We’ve already booked the home for next year and I can see our family using it for years to come. Proximity to the beach is ideal. And the private pool was exactly what we needed for the late evening dips. Can’t recommend Sweet Carolina enough. Sam

Our family, 21 total with 3 generations had a wonderful week at Sweet Carolina this past week. We enjoyed the home, it's great location and private access to the beach so much, we booked for next year after only the first 3 days.

Sweet Carolina is a wonderful house! The property manager responded to my questions very quickly. The check-in procedure was very easy. Our group of 18 total has been doing a beach trip for 36 years now and this house was perfect to spread out in and enjoy. We had a couple of issues with appliances but we worked around this. The local maintenance company was also very responsive when I reached out to him. Note: this house has an induction stovetop. We only had 2 small pots that would work but we reported this to the local maintenance person. But all in all this house is great! We've booked it again for next years trip!

We were hosting a Girls Weekend (20) for all of the September and October Birthdays and a special 60th Birthday. The house was very clean and laid out perfectly for a Friends gathering. Breath taking views with steps to the beach. Property Manager was awesome as he checked on us to make sure all was well. We definitely want to plan another trip next year!

The house is spacious and the large kitchen table, additional breakfast table, and bar area provided enough space for 19 people to eat together! Great, prompt response from owner. I would give this rental a 3 stars due primarily to poor condition of all upholstered furniture. All furniture was stained and desperately needed cleaning or totally replacing (I couldn’t sit on it without covering it with a towel). Lack of mattress covers on most of the beds was concerning. We were given washcloths that had never been washed and ‘bled’ black all over other items. Paint is needed in many places - especially kitchen cabinets and hand rails. The refrigerator had several large screws hanging down inside. The decor is also lacking in a house renting at this price point.

House was perfect - not too fancy that you felt like you couldn’t live in it and worry when a kid walks in a room. Really clean and nice. Tidy. Had one light fixture issue (that we caused) that was fixed immediately - no issues. Pool was secure from kids which was so good. Overall a great place for families.
