Surf Park House – Historic Jax Beach Home, 3 Blocks to Beach, Pet Friendly

We had a fabulous stay at Surf Park House. Everything you could possibly need or want was there for us. Extremely clean, great backyard, bedrooms a good size with lots of room for clothes and enough hangers, which is not always the case. Very happy with this place. The beach was 4 blocks directly from the home with the peir being a 8-10 min. walk down the beach. Would stay again. One of the nicer VRBOs we have stayed at in Jacksonville Beach over the last 4 yrs. Great to be able to have our dog and nice for the fenced in yard. Highly recommend. Wendy and Sam

A cozy house walking distance to the beach. Perfect in all ways. My Golden Retrievers loved it!

The cottage was spotless and cute, however, the beds were so firm it was hard to sleep. The gas grill was filthy and would not start, the ice maker did not work. We could not get the hot water in one of the bathroom vanities working so we just used the one bathroom. Of a six night stay, we stayed only 2, making this rental our most expensive ever! We notified the host we had decided to leave after our short stay and let her know why, knowing that fixing the issues would be important for future guests. Heather stated, after several messages, that she had never had a complaint about the beds but got new foam toppers, added ice trays, stated the hot water was fine and never addressed the gas grill. Heather also stated that if we would have let her know, she would have addressed the issues during our stay. I suggested that having repairs and deliveries during our stay defeats the purpose of being on vacation and that the responsibility of making sure their property is as advertised is on them. Oh well. Would not stay there again because of the way the host corresponded with me, saying the hot water was fine, and the ring of water I saw around the toilet indicating a possible leak was not there and that she had never gotten a complaint before.

We really enjoyed the house. The only thing i wish was clearer in the discription is none of the bathrooms are joined to the beadrooms.

This is the perfect location if you are looking for a place anywhere from Ponte Vedra to Atlantic Beach. Super convenient to everything we wanted to do, especially going to the beach. Had a great time!

We loved this house! It had everything we needed. It was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It was in a great location-the beach and lots of restaurants, stores, etc were all within a few minutes walking distance. The fenced-in yard was great for our dogs. We would definitely stay again.

A return trip and we love this house. Clean, well stocked, cozy and comfy. And a lot of style! We have family in the area so we will be back.

Very clean, well stocked, new appliances, big TV, comfortable furniture, ceiling fans, AC kept us cool, large fenced in back yard with outdoor furniture and grill. Shed full of beach items like chairs, tent, wagon and bacci ball. Really enjoyed our stay.

The place was adorable. The only problem was the shower head kept on falling and almost hit me in the face and head a couple of times.

Comfortable in the heat, updated look, beach things in the shed with an outdoor shower to rinse off, crosswalk to the beach is close. There was great communication with the host and a comprehensive list of expectation of the property. A great place to stay for our family of 4.

We had a great stay and the house had everything we needed! The fenced yard and outdoor shower were a big plus! We also appreciated the beach chairs, wagon, and cooler. Everyone in the area restaurants and stores were so very friendly! We also left a bag and the owner worked with us to ship the bag! We greatly appreciate her going the extra mile! This is the second stay we have stayed a week at Surf Park. We feel it is cute and cozy. Great central location-easy to walk to beach. Perfect fenced-in backyard for dogs.

We absolutely loved this cute little home. It worked out great to watch our daughter’s soccer matches and for her to spend time with us a few times. Lots of walkable options for food beach a few blocks away.

Ours did! Great quiet neighboorhood. Loved the backyard and convenience to everything. Great host and home filled with everything youll need. We cooked in most nights and had what we needed.I didnt realize this was on the opposite side of A1A.. That was on me though for not checking. Thank you for allowing our family to be together during the holidays! Thats what mattered most to us!

We stayed here with our one year old while we were visiting family. The space was perfect for three people, and would probably have worked well with one more too. The property is even closer to the beach than we expected and it was conveniently located near numerous grocery stores and restaurants. The house was very clean and comfortable and had thoughtful touches like coffee and cleaning supplies.

We had such a nice stay. We loved the home and the total vibe.

The reason for our visit from the UK was bitter sweet as my son was moving out to live with his father yet the comfort & beauty of our accommodation made it extremely comfortable, giving us our own space yet very central to beach & his new school which we where visiting. It was truly perfect & definitely will return to stay when next visiting.
