Surf Beach Holiday House

We had a lovely stay. House was clean and lots of space for two families. Great location across the road from the beach. Host was very responsive when we had questions. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for 5 days. Positives - super close to an unpatrolled beach which means beautiful walks and less crowds. Can hear the waves from the house. House is newish and deck was lovely to sit on and watch the sun go down. When standing at deck you can see glimpses of the ocean. Love Phillip Island as it is our families happy place. Large walk in robe to master and spacious proportions to ensuite. Three toilets was great and modern appliances throughout. Laundry, lots of close line space and a BBQ. Comfy couch, well equipped entertainers kitchen and good sized fridge/freezer. Double garage was great, good little yard to roll the ball or for little kids to toddle around. Wallabies bounced by and rabbits and birds galore which was nice. Lots of teas and glassware, platter plates, crockery etc. dishwasher worked well. Negatives- When check in says go one way to check in, go the opposite way or you will spend far too long searching. There are dirty smears on all cupboards, fridge, doors, walls, daddy long legs spiders and dead flies throughout, dust and dirty floors and stained toilets throughout. Everything needs a good deep clean and scrub. Shower and toilet for ensuite are above other bedrooms and super noisey for them if trying to sleep. Mattresses super uncomfortable, needs coffee machine, I received a small paper like cut and husband received a metal splinter from flyscreen doors. Toiletries supplied were nice but I really would love a new body wash rather than a big one for all guests who have been before me with a drip in the bottom left. Shampoo samples in cupboard had all been opened. WIR no lights working. I can tell the owners are well meaning with what they supply but could do with a bit of love and attention to detail for it to fully shine and be restored to its original new and clean feel.

This was a great property and had everything we were looking for. The house was excellent with plenty of room for our big family. The house was in a quiet location and proximity to the beach was great. We would definitely recommend this property and come back.

This is a very neat and clean house with good space for a relaxing holiday or trip to a PI event. The owner has organised everything very well. I will return there for sure.
