Nice place!

The house had everything needed! Beautiful location and close to restaurants and shopping. Very clean and loved the heated pool! We have stayed at many houses and this one is at the top! Thanks for everything.

There was a welcome basket full of snacks. My daughters enjoyed it! The house was very clean and we felt very safe there. Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed being able to access the kayaks also. This house was beautiful and we will definitely be back.

Everything was very nice. The setup up of pool and pier where amazing. House was very nice and had everthing you needed. The two problems we encoutered are the grass was tall was not cut alot of bugs in pool every day, and was not able to watch tv all weekend because WIFI was not working . No TV at pool or inside. Owner tried to get WIFI working but suggest that i call provider but was a hassel and i was there to enjoy my vacation. The WIFi should have been checked and working before we arrived and grass cut. The other problem was i was supprised by the softs spots in house in the floor . Other then that house was great and i relaxed and fished all weekend.

This was our one year wedding anniversary vacation and it did not disappoint!

We loved our stay at cozy Sunshine Retreat! The home was very clean and cool when we arrived, and the check-in and stay instructions were on point. The beachy decorations and plentiful supplies (coffee, spices, cleaning goods, etc.) were greatly appreciated and made us all feel at home. The owner was very communicative and quick to respond to all contacts throughout the rental process. We'll definitely be back!

Great experience

We enjoyed our stay so much. Kids swam a lot, kayaked to the islands then fished til wee hours of the mornings! The house and beds were great! Thank you for sharing this home with us. Our grandkids had a blast!

Peaceful, and beautiful. We didnt fight crowds and eveything was cost effective. Rockport is a great city to visit.

The house was clean and ready for our family to begin our annual vacation in Rockport. The pool was in great condition and fishing was good. Overall we had a wonderful stay and we plan on returning next year.

We had the best time! The property is the perfect getaway for our group of friends. Beautiful, private, no cares in the world for the short time we were there. We used the crab traps on the private doc and were able to have a fresh crab dinner during our stay. The only recommendation I have is to upgrade the mattresses, they are a bit hard and lumpy in the center. And maybe a bathroom downstairs as the going up and down frequently for 50 can wear you out. (: Overall, 5 stars from us. Thank you again for sharing your space!

The house was exactly as described! It was freshly cleaned and ready for our use. Amenities were plentiful! We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable and roomy.

The property is well maintained. It’s a good setup and we really enjoyed the pool. The crabbing was great but wouldn’t classify the fishing as good. You will catch a few fish here and there but don’t look to limit on anything. All in all it was nice place and a good place to enjoy some family time. It was also a short drive to town for shopping, eating out and getting live bait.

What a great place to stay!! From the balcony to the swimming pool, to the fishing pier, what a view. Four old friends wanted to find a place to stay, kick back, and fish for a few days. Luckily we came across Sunshine Retreat via the internet. Sunshine Retreat met all our criteria. We found the home to be clean, well maintained. The kitchen was well furnished with utensils and appliances. Thank you Kristen for sharing beautiful vacation home.

Lovely house and property. They've thought of the extras and communication with the host was fast, friendly, and thorough each time. We loved the outdoor TV, the dock, and the heated pool. We had a great time and really appreciated the recommendations for places to eat provided by the host. We would definitely stay again

House is great! Host was excellent to communicate with as well. Only complaint was we had a few old water bottles from prior guests on the floor in the master & bedding in master had a strange smell, not a clean smell. Aside from that, everything else was great.

We had a very good time staying at Sunshine Retreat. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with Kristen was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free. The space was very clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view of Salt Lake from back porch is amazing. The cold front arrived during our stay, therfore, we did not use kayaks or spent as much time outdoors as we would like. There was a technical issue with the pool heater when we arrived, however, Kristen, kept us informed about the attempts to repair and promptly reimbursed pool fee after discovering the repair will take longer than expected. We visited few local dining places and discovered that quality of food in Paradise Key was very dissapointing, however, PIK-NIK breakfast place was simply amazing. We also enjoyed Frank's Spaghetti House in Corpus Christi and their complementary glass of wine. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We highly recommend Kristen's place for the stay in the area.

We'd visited Rockport in the summer, but never in the winter. The owner was very responsive throughout our trip, from booking to check-out. The house was spotless when we arrived, and we appreciated the welcome snacks. The kitchen was well-stocked with seasonings, pots, and utensils. We weren't sure if the heated pool would be worth it, but it definitely was! My family and I enjoyed watching the football games while relaxing in the pool. Overall, it was a great spot for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Sunshine Retreat was most definitely a treat and retreat. We were able to book last minute for family Thanksgiving. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and cookware we needed to cook a feast as well as seasonings. The sunset views were show stoppers, beds were very comfortable. It was a cold windy few days but the home was cozy and already decorated for Christmas. We will definitely return!

We had a fantastic time in Rockport. Sunshine Retreat was the perfect place to spend quality time with my girl cousins. The kitchen was well stocked, the rooms were comfortable, we enjoyed the pool and the relaxing view of the water.

We loved staying a the Sunshine Retreat. The house was clean and fully stocked with household items. It felt like we were at home. We loved the privacy and access to water.
