    We had to find a place to work and stay while on a construction project. This was the perfect house and location! Great hosts!

    Outdoor area was pleasant. The property was clean, but with stark white walls and minimal furnishings, did nothing to evoke any type of comfort or interest let alone a Southern California experience. The home apparently was sold in late April 2022, so clearly there was a rush to get it on the rental market & it showed. The old folding closet doors were poorly aligned & the master bath door was missing the top horizontal wheel, so the door fell off the track onto the floor when attempting to close it. Tile in the master bath had noticeable gaps. The master bedroom tv is mounted to the wall on the side of the bed, which makes it very uncomfortable to view. One of the guests woke up to a lizard crawling up his arm while he was in bed. The description of the property on the website includes air conditioning , however after arriving in the late afternoon to a very hot house and no reference on how to use the programmable thermostat system, I called Casago & was informed there was no a/c. No explanation or assistance was offered. The only means of cooling in the house are fans (small table top for the 2 bedrooms & one ceiling in the master). Every afternoon & evening the house was in the mid to upper 80’s - there is no window covering on the sliding door off of the kitchen,/ dining so eating in the house was impossible unless you enjoy sweating. After a day spent at the beach or touring, it was impossible to return to the property to relax or cool off. Only late evening or early morning was pleasant - as you could be outside). I sent a response to the SBCasago & have asked twice for a reply/ explanation and have yet to be contacted. I have had the pleasure of vacationing in many beautiful locations & properties and this was by far the most disappointing.
