Sunset Hideaway ~ Oceanfront across from the beach, 14 min walk to restaurants

Excellent house for staying with family! We had a perfect vacation, amazing view!

Perfect beachfront retreat for Spring break

House was very clean so many amenities like shampoo conditioner fill kitchen of utensils. Clean towels and lots of blankets and pillows.

Great location next to the beach. 15 min walk to town, 3 min drive. House had everything we needed - plenty of dishes, blankets, pillows. We will definitely return!

Host was very flexible, quick to respond. The house itself was beyond stocked! Couldn't ask for a better view!

The house was amazing. Large window to look out at the beach and waves. All the living space was on the same floor which I love. We walked to Manzanita and enjoyed the shops. It was helpful that everything was clearly marked for lights, kitchen items, drawers, TV’s, etc. We had a great time.

The spacious open concept upper floor made for an amazing space for our family gathering! We loved the views, the beach access, the well equipped kitchen, ample bathrooms, ping-pong table in the garage, and the comfortable beds.

This house was absolutely beautiful. Me and my family had a wonderful time staying here. We stayed here with our 3 adult children and with our oldest’s fiancée. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect for us.

We all had a wonderful time!All in all was a very nice place but a few drawbacks were:We were disappointed with the bushes blocking the ocean view .... pictures online show you can see ocean much better than you can now. Can only see beach/ocean to the north. Not sure who the bushes belong to but they should be trimmed. The area is very pretty and nice. Road between house and beach was way busier than described though. Also would have preferred a top sheet instead of a duvet because duvet made us hot during the night even though the temp was cool.

Pristine clean. High quality supplies. Well stocked kitchen. Well thought out for kids and families. Great views of the ocean. Plenty of toys and chairs to take to the beach. Abundance of TVs with an Xbox and ping pong table for entertainment. Our main criticism is lack of storage/cupboard space for food since there is a sign to not leave food on the counters because it attracts ants (which is sadly true).

Great location, very nicely appointed. We loved sitting on the deck in both the morning and evening.

Beautiful home.. very well organized and it had all items we needed with having a full house and a baby. The host was most helpful and easy to work with . We all loved the location and easy access to beach and town. Looking forward to returning again.

Beautiful, roomy home with incredible views

With a fabulous beach just steps away and the cute town of Manzanita within walking distance uphill (or a 5 min drive), the location was very special. The house itself was great -- roomy livingroom, big dining table that fit all 9 of us, well stocked kitchen (thank you for leaving cooking oil, ketchup, spices instead of cleaning everything out between guests). Good crossbreeze kept the livingroom cool despite the very sunny weather. Beds were comfy, and the idea of having an extra twin bed in the main bedrooms worked well for our family. Grill in the shady back yard was also well used. We plan to come again!

We had an incredible stay in Manzanita! This property is gorgeous, fully stocked, so clean, and family friendly (including for toddlers). Steps from the beach and beautiful sunsets. Check in/out process is super easy. Cannot express enough how lovely our stay was! Perfect location and beautiful property!

This house is worth every penny. Owner super easy to work with for check in. House is steps from the beach and the views are amazing. Very quiet neighborhood which was great. Quaint town and grocery store right round the corner.

The perfect house and location for a family vacation. The kitchen had lots of plates so you didn’t need to run the dishwasher after every meal. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need. The beds were extremely comfortable. We loved being able to play ping pong in the garage. The location was perfect for easy access to the beach. We had a wonderful time.

A group of seven friends now living in different states reunited after six years. This house is clean and very well-equipped, with plenty of seating for group dining and relaxing. Bedrooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and nice linens. Five parking spaces was a real plus for our group. The ocean view was relaxing and ever-changing. Cristina is a great host and communicator.. We hope to gather here again.

We have been staying at this property for the past few years. Perfect place for a friend’s get away. Plenty of room to complete our Christmas crafts and easy access to sites along this part of the coast. Hope to stay here again in 2025.

Sunset Hideaway was wonderful. Beautiful view of the beach, wonderful bedrooms, well stocked kitchen for cooking up a storm, dining room table that sat all 10 of us, super comfortable living room. I highly recommend.

This is a lovely and very comfortable home. It is well stocked, clean and inviting. However, this is the second time my family and I booked a VRBO and been extremely disappointed that the fireplace did not provide a fire that we could enjoy. We fully understand gas fireplaces as we have had many in our various homes. This one could barely provide a visible flame even when set to max. We checked the propane tank and it was more than half full. (A previous experience with a VRBO rental near Lake Cushman advertising a fireplace, had 3 candles in the fireplace as the only option for use). In addition, the Sunset Hideaway could use an instruction manual on how to get the ROKU to operate the blue ray player to play CDs. We had no luck. This is a beautiful home and we would rent it again if these issues could be corrected.

This was a great house for our group of 11 (4 different families). The house is well stocked with probably the best instructions I've ever had in a rental house for things like WiFi and how to use the televisions. And you can't beat the location - steps to the beach. This was a perfect house and we'd definitely stay again!

As with our 1st 2024 stay at this rental house, we were very pleased with many aspects - the view (with numerous large view windows), closeness to the beach, open architecture, nice appliances, comfortable beds, numerous supplies, # of bathrooms, & good neighborhood. More chairs on the deck was nice + having a working garage door automatic opener. We were disappointed that the grill had not been cleaned from a previous guest - a lot of fish skins were stuck to the grill.

Property had a great location. Only negative comments are that the hot water heater was not hot enough ( temp should be turned up ) , there was mold on several of the shower curtains and the gas grill needs to be replaced.

We had a fantastic time at the Sunset Hideaway - it's tucked into a quiet neighborhood and just across the street from the beautiful beach. The house was in great condition, very clean, and well stocked with all that we needed for cooking. It was a great home base for day trips to Cannon Beach, Tillamook, etc. and we also spent a lot of time enjoying the fresh ocean breeze on the porch.

This was the nicest and most richly furnished home we have ever rented. Our three couples and two teens loved the beach equipment, the view, the deck, the comfy beds, and the most lavishly appointed kitchen possible. If this home were an Olympic contender, it would rate a gold medal!

This home was perfect for a quick girl's trip. Clean, quiet neighborhood and an adorable town. Steps away from the beach. We definitely would stay again.
