We had a wonderful stay at Barnhaus. The house was spotless, very well equipped with everything we needed, and located on a quiet street that made for a relaxing visit. The host was great at communicating, always responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Overall, it was a perfect spot for our trip and we would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Barnhaus! The setting was breathtaking—a peaceful retreat tucked into the woods on a gentle hillside, offering both seclusion and easy access to nearby attractions. It struck the perfect balance between being a cozy hideaway and a convenient home base for exploring the surrounding sites.The Barnhaus itself was thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were attentive in making sure our needs were met. We especially appreciated the well-stocked beach supplies, which made our outings much easier and more enjoyable.It truly is a charming spot—welcoming, serene, and perfectly situated for both relaxation and adventure. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

We had the best time during our stay. The interior is beautifully done. It’s secluded yet very accessible to the beach and downtown. It’s even within walking distance to one of the best hikes on the coast.

Our family stayed here for a short relaxing weekend getaway to the beach, and we enjoyed staying in the Barnhaus. The house is beautifully designed, functional and clean. We love the craftsmanship of the home. It had all the dishes, linens, and technology required for a great stay. It was close to the beach and restaurants, but still secluded enough on a cul de sac so that it was quiet at night, giving us a great night's rest.

Custom home in a quite neighborhood walking distance to downtown Manzanita, beach and to hiking trails. Home is pristine, clean and equipped with anything and everything you’d need. Owners communicate well. Beds are comfortable, shower is roomy, great views, peaceful and quiet. Will stay again.

My daughter and I came to the coast for a girls’ getaway and this home was the perfect place for us. It was clean, inviting, and close to everything! We loved the comfy beds, the TVs, the view from the back deck, the garage, the full kitchen, the laundry room—and the heated floors in the master bath were awesome! The hosts were welcoming and easy to work with. We highly recommend this home!!

My sister and I took our 80 year old parents to see the Oregon coast and wanted a memorable place to stay not just an average run of mill rental house. The Barnhaus in Manzanita Beach also known as Neahkahnie Beach, is located in the coastal town of Manzanita and has much more character and charm than most rental places you will find. It has the feel of a combination of rustic and modern cabin in the mountains. This property was awesome! A beautiful quiet location you feel like your in the forest and within walking distance of less than 10 minutes to the beach. Loved the open wood beams, hardwood floors, and beautiful fire place which was warm and inviting and added to the ambiance. The kitchen was beautiful and functional with granite counter tops and anything you might need. It almost encouraged you to want to cook. It's a great location for exploring the northern Oregon Coast. We easily explored everything from Tillamock on the south to Astoria Or, and Long Beach WA on the north, and everything in between including Seaside and Canon Beach. It is south of the busy Canon Beach in a more laid back environment. We saw deer in the back yard and elk on the highway near by. It is a wonderful property and the host was fantastic and gave us good ideas of places to eat and things to see and do in the area and was very accommodating. We couldn't of had a better experience and would definitely want to stay here again when we return to the area.

who wouldn’t be sad to leave this place? A lovely abode, nestled in tall trees with an expansive deck. The well appointed kitchen offers plenty of room in the pantry to store items for meals and snacks, The beds are super comfortable with two bathrooms, one with walk-in spacious shower and the other with a deep tub for soaking, We felt at home the second we walked in. The upstairs loft would be great for a family with teens. It was just us two this time and we enjoyed the peace! Clean and modern. Quiet street and close enough to the beach to feel privacy. Great beach outings nearby. our fave beach house so far! we hope to return!

Fantastic property close to beach and everything else you need. Worldly possessions are easily obtainable close by, but when you are in the home you are floating up in the clouds and treetops. Fantastic experience, can't wait to go back.

Our family has been staying here the past few years and it just gets better each time. Super easy check in and comms with the owner, fantastic location, beautiful and spacious house. We’ll be back next summer as it’s our go-to spot in Manzanita!

Great house in a very quiet location. We saw Elk in the meadow behind the house almost every morning. The neighborhood is small and very quiet. Close to the beach and downtown.
