Perfect size rental in a quiet neighborhood

The home was clean except for some of the cooking items were dusty. A couple of plates were dirty. The grass area in the yard had long and short screws on the ground. Very sharp. Also in the parking area. I have pictures of them. The windows in the living room were smeared and dirty. Not exactly what we expected. The bedroom had no place to put luggage. Very small area to hang clothes. Location was convenient. The people in the adjoining area were very loud at times.

Really did not enjoy...The place was not very clean. The shower drained slowly so we stood in a puddle while showering. Hook in the bathroom falling off the wall. The floor had sand/dirt on it. Bedroom door looked filthy or stained, hard to say. The bedroom door latch was rigged with a 1'X6 board in order to latch properly. Not even painted completely. King size bed in the bedroom took up most of the bedroom....made it difficult to get in and out of the bed without crawling over spouse. The large windows in the living room were dirty and smeared.Path to the back entry door was not lighted or well-marked. We weren't sure if we were going to the proper door/residence. We were arriving well after dark and this was an uncomfortable walk to an unknown residence. There was no clear path to the back entry door. We had to walk on a mud & sand path(??) to get to the back door. This was a real issue every time we returned to the VRBO.The photos make this residence look much better than it is by a long shot. Cannot recommend this VRBO!!

Place is a little on the small side, but it was so nice that it didn't matter. It was very private and pretty. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, and we can't wait to go back again! We loved it!

We enjoyed our one night stay in Wilmington at this cute little Bungalow!! They provided everything we needed to be comfortable and it was clean and very cozy! We were here to tour apartments in the area and it was nice to have a nice and reliant place to stay while we did!

This property was just as described. It was ideal for my husband and me ( plus our fur baby). We loved having access to a fenced in space for our pup to explore and the wonderful shade trees were an added bonus. The neighborhood was also quiet and felt very safe. It was great to have a comfortable space to stay during our visit to Wilmington. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed with my parents who are in their 90s to visit daughter who attends UNCW. It was the perfect place to retreat to after full days of exploring Wilmington and visiting UNCW. The cottage is tidy and the backyard is so inviting. Will definitely visit again.

The bungalow was quiet and relaxing in a wonderful neighborhood. Great back deck and yard to relax. Easy 2 minute walk to the park. Place was clean and neat with the basic amenities to make the stay comfortable. Close to downtown.

We completely enjoyed our stay and appreciated that it was dog friendly with a lovely fenced yard. We will book again when we travel to Wilmington again.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood a block away from a really nice park with a stream running through it. The streets are narrow and everyone parks on the street. The rental is on the backside of a house and is attached. When we arrived the house smelled really musty, we opened the windows the living area and it helped until we had to close them. The wall that separates the spaces is very thin. When we were in the bedroom, we could hear conversations easily and when the microwave was being used it sounded like it was in the bedroom with us. The yard is very nice but the wooden fence on the alley side of the yard was falling over and has big holes in it. We couldn't let our dog out alone because of the fence. Also the only pillows on the bed were bamboo memory foam or something like that and they were very thick and uncomfortable, we checked the closet for another type but that's all there was. We had to use the throw pillows from the couch . The couch in the living area is very comfortable and it was very relaxing sitting there and being able to look into the backyard with the windows open.The kitchen and bathroom are very nice. The kitchen appliance seemed new and there is a lot of light. The bathroom shower is very nice, has great water pressure and the provided soap smelled really good.

It was in a great location and felt very safe. The unit is clean and comfortable and has everything you would need. It was also dog friendly with a fenced in yard. The walls are quite thin and you might hear the neighbor (who is a loud talker) and I would bring my own pillows as the ones there were extremely firm. But that being said, I would absolutely stay here again!!

I spend a week every Month in Wilmington .:: was hoping this would be a recurring vrbo rental property … but a bit tight for me and my pup … I come with dog beds, crate and blankets so my pup understands their space the crate didn’t fit in the bedroom (but the huge human bed was comfortable..just a bit big for the space) ..I guess I missed it in the pics but there is no dinette or seated dining space… I had company over one evening and it was awkward to hv company eating on the couch … that being said the sun room is lovely and where I spent all awake time in the place … but not much space for my yoga mat … I travel a lot .. so I bring over the door hooks which proved to be a great decision as there are no towel racks. This property is not just behind the bungalow it is part of the bungalow .:. The redo is great but u can hear the occupants in the front unit … the bedroom is a shared wall or attic space not sure of the source … but a bit noisy … not in a loud party way but u can hear their conversations (and loud male yawns) til they go to sleep. here… there are no towel racks …

We were originally booked into a smaller property where the heater/ thermostat was not working properly but the host moved us into another property which worked out beautifully. Light filled, high ceilings and recent upgrades in the kitchen and bathrooms. Very comfortable and we appreciate the quick response of the host. We would recommend this property.

We loved our stay here! The host was very communicative, the check in was easy, and the house was spotless! Also has a great back porch and a private fenced in back yard for your dog! Would definitely recommend staying here.

It was such a cute property, it was located on the backside of a different property, but that meant that you got a private yard and outdoor porch. There was no street noise or any noise in general other than the birds and bugs outside. Everything was clean and well stocked, and there were no complaints about the property.
