This is a large old house with many bedrooms and baths. Great location in Northeast Harbor on an ocean inlet with a large porch overlooking the water. Some of the house has been beautifully renovated (like the kitchen and some of the bathrooms) and some has not. The un-renovated areas retain a rustic charm but could use some refurbishing (replacement of shades, e.g.) Great property for a large group that does not require 4-star hotel luxury.

Loved the location and peace and quiet of the neighborhood. We forgot a couple of items and staff called us quickly to let us know so we could retrieve them. Thank you staff.

Our family of 4 siblings and our 4 spouses loved staying at Aunt Hannah's. We enjoyed exploring everything Acadia NP, plus boat tour, Granite museum, and more. Since it was cool fall weather we enjoyed a comforting fire every evening. The beds are comfortable, and each couple enjoyed their own Bastrop.

We had a great stay at this home! The waterfront views are amazing. There are steps down to the water but this is NOT a beach, but rocky shore akin to most of the island. The home had everything we needed. All bathrooms and the kitchen are updated. The bedrooms and living room are very campy. Plenty of room for all! Stayed with 6 adults and 5 kids ranging from 5 years to a few months!

We stayed with a large group for a family wedding. The house was large enough for everyone to be comfortable, and was very well equipped. However, there were a few issues- the en-suite bathroom on the 3rd floor was described as “not renovated “. This turned out to mean no shower in the tub and separate hot and cold faucets for the sink. The water for that toilet was not turned on, although we managed to fix that. The other bathroom on the third floor was more modern but curiously did not have an outlet, and the ceiling was in need of repair. The rooms on all the other floors were lovely and updated, beds were comfortable too.

Great family place. The house is 100 years old and rich with history, old photos and many antiques that harken back to a simpler time. Some of the furniture is definitely dated, but It has a nicely updated large kitchen and wonderful porch to overlook Gilpatrick Cove. The house was nicely stocked. Overall, we loved the experience and would rent again.
