We loved the spot. Rooms were big and it was very clean. Only wish the hot tub was running.

This lovely house was all we hoped for! Perfect location for us, super comfortable, great beds and really roomy for our group of 6 ladies. Wonderful to have morning and evening visits by a local deer family. Most loved having multiple seating areas to hang out inside and out depending on how we felt and how the weather was doing. Great choice!

The house was a perfect fit for our family get together. . Large spacious kitchen and beautifully decorated . . .Our two little grandsons so enjoyed the backyard. . .Great location with privacy but close enough to things we wanted to do!

Perfect spot for a reunion of 10 dear old friends

This property is spacious, clean and convenient to many locations on Mt. Desert Island including Acadia NP and Bar Harbor.The home had plenty of room for us to spread out with large bedrooms and comfy beds. We could eat together in the large dining room and gather in the living room. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed to cook for a large family. The basement was a bonus with a big screen TV and room for the kids to play. The outside was gorgeous with trees all around. We saw deer and a marmot in the yard while we were there. Beach towels were provided and the kids enjoyed swimming in the ocean as well as the small lake near the house.Check-in and checkout was easy and communication with management was good.We would recommend this property to others and would stay her again if in the area.

Our family had a great 4 day stay in Acadia! The home was pristinely clean and exactly as described. All of our communication was timely and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to friends or family.

The home is beautiful, situated on a lovely private lot and it is LARGE! We had a group of 10 with ages from 16 thru 80 and had plenty of room to spread out which was great! The beds are quite nice and the decor is lovely and quite comfortable. The home is close to all of the harbors which was a really great convenience to be able to get out easily to see all of the beauty around Acadia. Host is very responsive and check in was a breeze. All in all, a great place for our family of 10 to stay and experience Acadia National Park. Our favorite restaurant ended up being Seafood Ketch in Bass Harbor with Nor’Easter also quite good. Be sure and get some blueberry donuts from Colonels.

This house was absolutely gorgeous and immaculate. I would highly recommend this place. The Knowles Company was easy to work with and communicated appropriately. Only hiccup was that our code would not work so had to use the hard keys all week. Its well located to everything on Mount Desert Island and had enough parking for us all. Linens were very nice too.

We had a group of 9 adults from all over the US meet up in Bar Harbor for a friends vacation. The property was absolutely perfect for our group. Very spacious and perfectly stocked. We loved some of the higher end luxury items, like the heated floors, and the towel warmer in the bathroom. We even had a fun evening listening to the record player. The kitchen was perfectly stocked... there was even a large pot for us to cook our fresh lobsters in. I somehow missed or accidentally deleted the check in email instructions (through email not VRBO message) so I had to contact the property manager to get our check in instructions. She answered right away and sent me a new email. We had no other situations that needed attention while at the property. Thank you for the wonderful property.

We loved the home! It was so lovely and perfect for our group. We enjoyed cooking meals together in the beautiful kitchen and the beds were the most comfortable to come home to after our hikes. I would love to come back and stay again. Thank you so much!

Bufflehead Camp was great spot for our large family to stay during our vacation to Acadia National Park. During our initial search, it was hard to find a house large enough that felt like it could manage multiple family units but this house had separate wings, which provided everyone space to relax. Plus the kitchen and dining room was large enough to host us all at once. All the beds and linens were comfortable, and there was a first floor bedroom/bathroom, which was easily accessible. We also enjoyed having a grill and fire pit outside.

Great house and good location. Very private and away from the crowds but easy access to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, etc. House well equipped. property caregiver reached out upon our arrival. So fun to have our family together again after 2 years. Great memories were made by all.,

This was an absolutely beautiful and extremely spacious cottage that is located within minutes of all the sights we wished to visit. We have never seen another VRBO rental that was so well equipped with everything you could wish for--and more! There were ten of us, including four children, and we all had plenty of space within the cottage. Both of our sons appreciated the office space for some remote work they needed to do. The property is secluded and private and also includes ample room for parking. Communication with the host was excellent and extremely helpful whenever we had a question. We all agreed that we would eagerly stay at this cottage during future visits to Mt. Desert Island.
