Suite Escape Mountainside Retreat with full deck. Pet friendly!

Our hosts thought of everything…from gourmet coffee and snacks to an amazing fog-friendly environment.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Our pup was welcomed and was comfortable. No skiing for us.

Clean, cozy suite with close proximity to Cataloochee (15 min drive) , pet friendly with a private deck. The hosts were thorough, communicative, and very hospitable. Would definitely stay again

What made Suite Escape so amazing? Several things did...first let me start off with the host, they were nothing short of amazing. Every thought was put into welcoming us and our fur babies. Second, the place was so cozy and quaint. Thirdly, it was a good spot in driving to everywhere we wanted to sightsee. Our host recommended a few great places that we tried and loved. You cannot go wrong if you choose the Suite Escape as to where you stay in Maggie Valley, NC on your next adventure.

Clean space that was easily accessible in Maggie Valley. Close to attractions on the Blue Ridge Parkway that we were planning to visit with still being close to Cherokee and Asheville.

We enjoyed our stay, bed was quite comfortable & this location is very pet friendly! These were most important to us. The hosts are very friendly & the location is close to activities, giving you plenty to see/do.

Mr Mel was a great host. The suite was not cleaned, spider webs, dirty floors,stains on mattress cover. The first night my wife cleaned everything up and got it right. The rest of the trip was great. Mr. Mel was not aware of the cleanliness of the suite,he pays for a house keeper to clean it . Mr Mel was very thankful we brought it to his attention.

Mel and Lynda have a delightfully cozy mountain retreat in Maggie Valley that exceeded all our expectations. Such warmth and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that has us already figuring out when we can get away for our next Suite Escape! Lovely in all aspects!

Cool Escape from FL in the Summer Heat. Felt like living in a tree house. 30 foot Private deck and private entrance give you lots of privacy. Owners couldn't be nicer or more gracious.Pet friendly a big plus for me.

Great Place to get away and have some rest and renewal time while attending a conference.

We had a wonderful stay. The hospitality was incredible and warming. The views were amazing and we left happy and recharged.

The location was great. If you have a hard time going up and down stairs this would rental would not be good for you. This space needs to be updated. the furniture had an odor to it and over all the place was just too cluttered for me and needed a good deep cleaning.

Lean and homey

Second stay at Suite Escape and it was just as delightful as before! Spring time brings beautiful tree canopy and shaded landscape for coffee or meals on the deck. So enjoyable.

This property is stunning. So clean and well appointed and like being nestled in a treehouse. Great host, great location and everything you could need. I do not have a single negative thing to say, it's truly 5 star!

This is a great space to stay at!! Locate on the side of a mountain in a peaceful, serene setting. Space was clean and comfortable with many extras and amenities. Communication was great as Mel met us upon arrival and explained all of the nuances of the space. We would love to stay there again.

Beautiful property, pictures were accurate but it’s even better in person! Hosts were amazing and we loved the views and the neighborhood walks with our dogs.

Mel was a great host who you can genuinely feel cares about his guests and their comfort and enjoyment. The suite under their home was perfect for my girlfriend, me, and our 2 dogs. It was a great location close to anything you want to visit in Maggie Valley or Waynesville. Would recommend to anybody wanting to visit the area.

This was The Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in! Beautifully situated with a treehouse like feel. The deck was lovely and large enough for our dog to move about. Mel and Lynda were amazing hosts. The Suite was spacious and lacked nothing. Had I noticed that we needed something our hosts had assured us all we had to do was ask! Would definitely book there again!

Truly a home away from home. The house was stocked with everything we could have ever needed (and then some)! When we initially checked in we felt so comfortable we went & picked up a pizza from down the street (Bizarro's, highly recommended!!) and had an amazing family night at home with our toddler & senior dog. If given the opportunity we will 100% stay here again. Thank you so so much!

Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect! Our hosts were more than accommodating and had everything available that we needed. Even though the space was under their living quarters, we were tucked away with a beautiful view and complete privacy. We will definitely be returning.
