Welcome to Sugar Maple, where timeless charm meets rustic elegance. Find this (fresh to the rental market) retreat nestled amidst the pines and towering maples, this vacation home offers an enchanting escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Step into our old log home and feel the warmth of history embracing you. Crafted from sturdy timbers and adorned with vintage accents, every corner exudes a sense of nostalgia. The spacious living area beckons you to unwind by the crackling fireplace, where stories are shared and memories are made.

As you explore further, you'll discover the heart of the retreat, the serene private lake. Just steps away from your doorstep, the clean and clear water of Hansen Lake glistens under the sun, inviting you to dip your toes or embark on a leisurely canoe ride. Beautiful property, lovely home and everything one would want on a vacation. Wonderful views out every window, so tastefully furnished with comfy beds. The kitchen fully stocked and ready for one's recipe creations (or not). Plenty of wood for a roaring camp fire, outdoor seating, etc, etc, etc. Many places nearby to explore.Did I mention the TREE? I Think That I Shall Never SeeA Poem as Lovely as THAT TREE!

This property was all about peace and quiet. The owners were next door and seemed to be really friendly. They had activities such as paddle boards and a canoe. We brought our 2 labs and they really enjoyed it. Wildlife everywhere. Watch for the deer, they are plentiful and they have no fear of cars. One came within 30 ft of us while we were having dinner on the deck. I would definitely recommend the sugar maple.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cabin! The location was perfect for us - nestled in the woods, offering a secluded and peaceful getaway, yet close enough to town for convenient access to amenities. Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest was a short drive away, and we enjoyed spending time there as well.

We had a beautiful relaxing stay. The description of this property is 100% accurate. And all of the small touches you will notice more and more of as you begin to slow down and relax will bring a smile to your face.i loved that there is no TV. And there is enough space for everyone to find there own cozy area or to come together as a group. We only have 3 days to soak it all up. We hope to have another opportunity doon. smilentonyoh face.
