The property was clean and comfortable.

My husband and son stayed here while in town for a sporting event. They had an excellent experience. Would definitely stay again!!!

The place is very clean and the hosts are very thoughtful. Location is good for what we needed to do.

This is clearly an in-law suite or could have been if it was not originally. The hosts provided exceptional hospitality, with attention to detail like no other- a personal note, small snacks I didn't think Ii needed or wanted but I was so grateful for them in the middle o the nigh when my stomach grumbled. The room has total privacy and is incredibly clean, with no weird smells you sometimes encounter in rentals. The mattress and pillows were a little soft for me, otherwise I might have asked to move in it was so nice, I felt like a queen for the night. There is not a thing they could have don to make this a better stay! Wonderful hosts and property.

This stay should have been a better experience: The owner charges travelers more than nearby hotels. We were willing to pay because of the descriptions and photos in Expedia/VRBO were enticing. However, descriptions and photos of what other space is available to us don't match the reality (the owner exaggerated too much in luring travelers-- close to false advertising). Anyone booking this place need to lower the expectations. What we liked: 1. layout of the room we got was very good-- functional. 2. It's close to Trader Joe's 3. It's in a nice neighborhood 4. The mini muffins were tasty 5. The tea bag selection is plenty What we really hated: 1. The pavers to the room we got are hopping stones-- not suitcase friendly at all. You have to carry the suitcase. It's dangerous for anyone with heavy luggage. 2. The space accessible to us was much more limited and photos of the property landscape don't match the reality at all. 3. The hard boiled eggs the owner provided had already gone bad. 4. The bathroom slippers tend to put you out of balance-- dangerous.

This is a suite in the side of the owners’ home. The bedroom is large and nicely furnished. The adjoining bathroom and shower were perfect for us. The sitting room had two comfy armchairs, desk and tv in an entertainment center. Didn’t miss a kitchen at all. Best Keurig machine ever, microwave, and small refrigerator. Salt and pepper, paper plates and silverware, cream in the refrigerator for coffee or tea. The best was finding the Martin’s card welcoming us, muffins and cookies and hard boiled eggs for our breakfast. So many great attractions nearby!

Definitely would recommend such a comfy & cozy stay!

The property is meticulously cared for. The suite was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the clean and quiet place to return to after touring art galleries and gardens. The host thought of everything we should need for our stay. We cannot wait to return.

The space was fantastic, and the hosts had all sorts of little touches to it that made it that much more comfortable. I would stay here again if the opportunity was there.

Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed as a solo traveler, and I can see it’s ideal for a couple as well. Top marks all around! Nicely appointed and roomy suite in a beautiful neighborhood where I enjoyed walking in open greenery and to nearby shopping. I’ve never felt more “at home” on the road.

Nice, quiet property in a beautiful neighborhood. Felt very safe. Comfortable bed. Heat worked wonderfully. Internet was good. Host left goodies for us in the room which were very thoughtful and yummy! Location was close to so much shopping, restaurants, etc. Short drive to Longwood Gardens. Would return for a future stay.

A great place! Our host was welcoming and attentive. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. All of the touches really made the place feel like home. The location is quiet and peaceful, not too far from attractions. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay here. Cheryl and Don are gracious hosts and left special touches like muffins and hard boiled eggs for our first breakfast. The area was located in a great area with easy access to many great historic sites. I would love to stay here again and do another visit to the Longwood Gardens.

We had a wonderful stay at this property while attending the University of Delaware football game. The drive to the stadium was about 20 minutes with traffic, which was very convenient. The hosts were AMAZING and incredibly accommodating, making our visit smooth and comfortable. The location is excellent, with outstanding restaurants, a movie theater, and a mall just minutes away. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the Wilmington area!

Suite was perfect, clean and in a beautiful neighborhood. The host was wonderful and left us delicious blueberry muffins for our first morning there. We came for Longwood garden, it did not disappoint. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Lovely, quiet, comfortable, well equipped, clean. Added bonus was the large, shady patio. One minor issue, almost immediately resolved. Great hosts. Convenient to attractions, restaurants, PHL.

This is a beautiful home with beautiful landscaping. We were greeted with a personal note from the host and muffins ready for breakfast the next morning. The two room suite was a sitting room with comfy chairs, TV, and desk & a large bedroom and bath. Sadly, our schedule didn’t allow us to meet the hosts or take advantage of the outdoor spaces. All in all, it worked great for us.

This is such a fantastic suite close to Longwood Gardens and many restaurants. The hosts were excellent at communicating. The suite was very clean and spacious with lots of little extras to make our stay special! There is a very nice mini fridge and microwave. Cheryl and Don had Gluten Free muffins, cookies & hard boiled eggs ready for our arrival! They even hand wrote a lovely welcome note. I’d recommend it to anyone and would love to visit again! This is our 3rd time staying at this beautiful vrbo. It never disappoints.

Beautiful property with lots of thoughtful touches - muffins and eggs. The patio area was a real delight as bird feeders brought feathered friends and a flock of Canada geese grazed in the nearby open area. Close to Longwood Gardens and Brandywine Creek State Park provided the ideal location.

My husband and I felt right at home at Cheryl and Don’s property. The suite is clean and nicely decorated. The robes, assorted reading materials and binder full of recommendations were a great addition. We appreciated the homemade muffins, coffee/tea supplies and hard boiled eggs. The location is quiet, secure and conveniently located to many attractions. .

Cheryl and Don’s guest suite was perfect for a short stay exploring all that is offered by the Brandywine Valley. Although the suite does not have a kitchen, the mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker were perfect for our needs. The unit had many thoughtful touches, including bathrobes, extra toiletries, and small snacks. Muffins and coffee cream were provided for our first morning. The bed was comfortably made up and of medium firmness. Our hosts were very easy to work with and we never heard them (the unit is attached to their home through a locked door). We would definitely consider staying with them again.

I can't say enough good things about my stay. The communication was excellent so I was well informed prior to my arrival. When I got there, I was delighted by my welcome and the beautiful, comfy, cozy suite. It was immaculate and had lovely amenities and provisions. It was absolutely delightful and I hope I can return another time. Highly recommend !!

This may be the best Vrbo we have ever stayed in. Great location near Brandywine Museum where the hosts have anticipated every possible need of their guests. Home baked muffins and hard boiled eggs for breakfast, a separate sitting room with two comfy chairs for reading or watching a movie, very comfortable bed and a suite tastefully decorated. We will definitely return.

Seemless check in and peaceful property bonus is great pasteries left by host. I have been so happy with this VRBO that I have been staying there for a number of years. Highly recommend the place. Accomodations have everything you might need and is well decorated.

A perfect little place to stay as we spent time hiking in Brandywine. The hosts were amazing as was the space. They had all kinds of thoughtful touches from homemade baked goods to the autumnal decorations. Incredibly clean, cozy & relaxing. We will highly recommend to our family & friends ❤️

The stay was even better than advertised. The stay was 5Star in every way from the neighborhood to all the amenities supplied. We wanted for nothing. The cleanliness, the top of the line linen's, bath towels, everything needed for morning coffee, the refrigerator with ice cubes, note pads, and info about area restaurants and places to see

This is a warm, well-maintained, and comfortable space, with many thoughtful and friendly touches which were very welcoming. We especially appreciated the binder with nearby restaurant suggestions and personal feedback. Hosts were easily reached and offered further useful tips. The location is perfect for exploring the Brandywine Valley and Philadelphia.
