Stylish, Modern 2-Bedroom Retreat, Central with WiFi & AC

Staying here was really a positive experience. The listing was very accurate, well appointed, clear communication, responsive host. Only feedback I can give is the bedroom was very warm due to the one unit AC in the LR, and there was no top sheet on bed. The duvet cover was very warm with lack of AC. The bathroom needs an overhaul, but otherwise great property and loved the Fishtown location. Thank you!

Once we accessed the first door we realized that the stairs were extremely steep, so we both grabbed on to the railing to secure ourselves but quickly realized the railing was coming off from the wall, someone will most likely fall once this fully detachs (extremely unsafe). The entire place needs a good scrub and fresh paint. The walls look as though a toddler was allowed to put their dirty handprints everywhere. The rug was full of stains, appeared as though it had not been mopped in quite some time. Bathroom has bugs crawling all over in the shower, coming out from the corners and running to the drain. Towel rod in bathroom is also coming off the wall. Refrigerator was pulled out and there was more crud, items (comb, trash, ribbon) then I felt comfortable with. Kitchen is definitely not gourmet as it is listed, few items that should have been available but were not. No baking sheet, dish soap, towels for cleaning. Bath towels had bleach stains on it.The pictures listed for this property are extremely deceiving. This property has great potential but needs better maintenance and TLC for it to be worth staying in again.

I have never seen a place that was more sparsely furnished or more of a disappointment to arrive at. Junkies screaming outside on the corner across the street three separate times. And don’t get me started on the”” gourmet kitchen “ no dish towels, cheap pots and not a single frying pan, super gourmet! Also the water pressure is abysmal, hardly even worth trying to take a shower. The stairs are treacherous. So no, I did not enjoy it, the place is a rip off and a scam. I don’t care how nice the owner is , the place sucks and if I could get my money back, I would.

I love the property and whenever I needed to reach out someone was there to assist..thank you thank you thank you for treating me like a person I would stay again and again it’s been like a home away from home

This was a good base for exploring the Fishtown area, and going to a show at Johnny Brenda's.
