Stayed Dec 31, 1969We are just back from a wonderful weekend in Alkmaar. Such a lovely town where we felt we experienced Holland more than ever before. The house is situated on a lovely street with views to the canal. Vivi couldn't have been more helpful & the house is everything you want in a rental accommodation. Very clean, modern, well equipped & so close to the centre of the town. Claire & Colin

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was the perfect home from which to explore Alkmaar and Amsterdam. We loved how much space the two floors provided our family - the baby could sleep upstairs while we enjoyed the canal view at night from the cozy bench outside the house. The location of the house was perfect - a 15 minute walk to the train station and only seconds away from the heart of Alkmaar. The house was very well appointed - we had everything we needed, and then some! We also appreciated the book of information about the house and the surrounding areas. When we were originally looking to book our vacation, we thought we'd stay in Amsterdam. Eventually we decided to stay in Alkmaar and we couldn't have been happier! The house was located on a quiet street (though you do see lots of people walking and biking by!), and the town seemed so friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Alkmaar!
