This house sits right on the water and has amazing views from all levels. I loved looking out onto the water and we saw Bald Eagles flying multiple times a day as well as a seal visitor morning and night. The house was clean and nicely furnished. Very comfortable for the 3 of us. The only downside could be that there are stairs down to the main level (from the parking) and the bedrooms were down another level. It was fine for us but I wanted to mention just in case anyone has mobility issues. I could have spent the entire time sitting on the deck and been perfectly happy.
The view, the showers, and the sound system. I don’t like my house anymore.
I was highly disappointed in the house. The view and master shower were amazing, but everything else lacked. It looked as it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Everything seemed like it would be nice but just items were broken or dirty. We found random ear swabs placed around the house, the fire alarm in the master was hanging from the wires, the second shower tile floor was cracked and so old and dirty looking we didn’t use it, the beds were uncomfortable, the towels stiff and grayish. I reached out to the management team and they said they would get back to me but never heard from them again. If they could come in and do a big clean and fix some of the dated/old issues this house could be 5 stars.
seeing bald eagles, seals, otters and other wild life was a memorable experience
Everything was dusty and some places very dirty, large spiders and webs outside everywhere. Beds were uncomfortable, wifi wasn’t great, checkout was an hour too early
Perfect place to catch up
The view of the lake was lovely. Greatroom was nice with adequate seating. Main bedroom shower was excellent.
We loved this property and the view. We were disappointed to not have propane to operate the fire table or grill. The local team was aware as they suggested prior to our arrival that we go buy the fuel and they would reimburse us. Our days there were booked too full to do this and no fuel was ever delivered during our stay. We 100% would have used these amenities had they been available to us.
Top notch views of Similk Bay. Harbor seals morning and evening and Sea Otters swim by. The home’s interior is great… high ceilings, huge windows, fantastic kitchen, awesome 4 levels of decks. Convenient to Anacortes and Oak Harbor. Bathrooms are great, laundry appliances are new…this place is so nice… very memorable time.
The pictures don’t do this property justice. It is fantastic! Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Thanks for a great time. We’ll be back as soon as we can.
Very limited outdoor furniture and very little shade options. Given the great decks and view the outdoor space was what we were excited about. But a lack of seating and umbrellas left us disappointed Quirky fun floor plan that offers great waterside relaxation but needs more outdoor seating options. Bedding (pillows) were bad and we didn’t sleep well. Beautiful bathrooms and updates.
This is a beautiful place with incredible views. It was clean and nicely decorated. There are two issues that would make this great - the dishwasher needs to be attached, it keeps falling out of the housing. Also there needs to be some kind of instructions on how things work in the home. The skinny ladder to the bottom floor seems dangerous and difficult.
We had 2 amazing days enjoying this custom home built on the water’s edge. The home has amazing extras like Sonos sound system throughout the house, jacuzzi tub, sauna room and double-shower head/sauna shower in the master bathroom. The couch was super comfy and has electric recliners built in. The 2nd bedroom is right next to the master amd the 3rd “bunk” room is down below, accessible from both the 2nd bedroom (steep stairs) or easily accessible from the back porch. All high end amenities abound in this home. There is some fighter jet noise outside from the NAS base, but we enjoyed seeing them fly over amd got used to it. Night time was all quiet. Really nice neighborhood, lots of homes around here, sort felt like a mountain home. Pine smells and clean air. Even though there were homes next door on both sides, we felt secluded in this house amd enjoyed our views the whole time! We would definitely stay here again.
Very clean and nicely furnished. Can’t wait to go back!
Great view and easy to get to. Quiet neighborhood if you exclude the navy jets that pass by daily for a few hours. We were able to enjoy lots of wildlife viewing - cranes, cormorants, Harbor seals, jellyfish, bald eagles. Use caution with young kids as outside stairs lead to open deck with drop off to water (high tide) or beach (low tide) without stair or ramp access. Overall, great location and wonderful view.
The view and location are wonderful, just beautiful. The house is unusual, but comfortable. Feels more like a condo rental than a vacation “home.” It lacked the basic necessities that most home rentals provide. No Kleenex, foil, storage containers for leftovers, steak knives, pens and paper, games, etc. The home has many features that one might want to use, however no instructions are provided for anything in the house and some things are non functioning; very confusing. Access to the water requires climbing down rocks, fine for us, but maybe not others. When booking this I didn’t realize it was through a company called Vacasa and not by owner. Vacasa customer service was terrible, very impersonal, took weeks to make a simple change to the reservation and they requested payment through their website, not through VRBO. I wish VRBO would not carry other company’s listings. I’ll be more careful to make sure my VRBO bookings are direct with an owner, not a secondary company. Overall, Vacasa made the experience worse, but Anacortes and all that the area has to offer, and even this unusual home, still made for a fabulous trip!
We loved our stay at Panorama Villas. It was spacious, comfortable, peaceful and beautiful inside and out. We were a group of 6 (3 couples) and there was more than enough room for all of us, just a heads up that the 3rd bedroom on the bottom level must be accessed from outdoors if you don't want to go through the 2nd bedroom. This was fine for us as we got good weather but could be an issue if it's cold/rainy. We stayed in and cooked all weekend and it was nice to have the BBQ as well. If we ever return to Anacortes we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
