Stayed Jul 16, 2022We loved this home! The quickest word that comes to mind was relaxation!!. The view from the deck and inside the home was beautiful and peaceful. We made a point of watching the sunsets each night and were visited by eagles, deer, hummingbirds, and others each day. The temperatures in this section of Anacortes were always perfect. And it was a quick 2 minute ride to the ferry for San Juan Island exploring. We enjoyed hiking the Washington Park loop many times; a very easy and beautiful walk from the house. We can't wait to come back many more times. Thank you !

Stayed Jul 20, 2019We stayed 4 weeks and loved every moment. Perfectly loacated in Anacortes for easy access to town, ferries, I-5, Whidbey Island and the mainland. Being from the PNW, we knew what we wanted to do and we did it all. During our 4 weeks, we biked the San Juan’s, hiked the high meadows and alongside the glaciers of Mt Baker, took in a Bluegrass Festival, took the ferry to Sydney, BC for an anniversary getaway, hiked the Juan De Fuca trail along the west coast of Vancouver Island, and explored the parks and trails of Fidalgo and Whidbey Island. Nearby is Washington Park with a wonderful loop hike that we enjoyed 3-4 days a week The home is well equipped allowing us to cook a number of dinners in and entertain family and the neighbor. This home is the ideal base for soaking in the beautiful PNW! Thank you Carrie and Houshang.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at this cute house with incredible views of ocean. Every morning we walked washington park and in the evenings watched the sunset from the balcony. Easy drives to deception pass and in to town for delicious oysters and quaint bars for drinks or great Coffee at Penguin coffee. Anacortes Is a clean friendly town to get your provisions and walk around downtown. If you are looking for a place to air out your brain- this is lovely! We are going to try to come back for the art festival this summer!
