Bayfront Home - Take Ferry to the San Juan Islands

This property is beautiful. We loved spending 2 quiet nights here with our son and daughter in law and 2 grand babies. This house is very well stocked. We loved the general store on the island. It is a great place for a quiet and simple retreat.

The Rosebud beach house was perfect! Great location on Guemes. We were there on the island for a wedding that was at a family member’s beach house down the road that we have stayed at several times over the years. The house had all the amenities that you need and a great view of anacortes. It worked great as another hangout spot for friends and family that were there for the wedding. Don, the owner was great to work with and had the place ready to go! We are looking at getting the place again for next summer for a small family reunion.

This home was the perfect place for a girls weekend! There were 7 of us in total and by doubling up on the beds, we all had comfortable places to sleep. The kitchen was clean, well stocked, and great for cooking together. We ate dinners together at the large dining room table and breakfasts out on the deck with a view of the water. The easy access to the beach was heavenly, and we took out our paddle boards out a couple of times. We played board games, watched movies, and explored the island together. We were able to walk from the house to the Guemes Mountain trailhead, which is a beautiful hike with incredible views at the top. The ferry terminal and General Store are about 1.7 miles away and within walking distance as well. We loved staying in the beautiful home and definitely plan to come back!

We rented this home for a long weekend getaway to celebrate my mom’s birthday. The home was very clean and inviting. The main area of the home was spacious and made for a great hang out space for 5 of us - definitely large enough for more. Large windows facing the water made it so we could enjoy the view inside and out. Beach access was excellent and we watched beautiful sunsets each night from the deck and beach. The yard was huge and made for an awesome place to throw a frisbee around. Guemes Mountain Trail was only a half mile walk from the property. Owner was very kind and helpful! We would 100% stay again! Thank you!

Beautiful accommodations.

Rosebud is a gracious, comfortable, welcoming home with a gorgeous view night and day. Perfect for a family getaway with a well equipped kitchen and large dining table. There were just three adults in our family group, each with our own bedroom. It was early December and cold so we appreciated the fireplace with remote and the long table to work a puzzle and play games, and the large screen t.v. for streaming sappy Christmas movies! We fell in love with Guemes Island, enjoying the people who were so friendly on the timely self-driving Artist’s Studio Tour, that also gave us a tour of the entire island. The General Store, its restaurant, bakery and grocery store are where it all happens. The owners and all the people there were super friendly and we don’t know how our stay could have been any better.

Six family members stayed there for my daughter's wedding at Guemes Island Resort. They all said it was great.

Our family enjoyed the peaceful setting, each day we walked the rocky beach . Enjoyed the porch overlooking the water - nightly dates with a harbor seal and occasionally the deer showed up too! Kitchen was lovely and enjoyed our morning breakfast and we also made dinner for our parents one night. Walking to the General Store we saw an eagle !

Loved the property. Very clean with nice finishes and amenities. Beach access was amazing with a treasure trove of things to explore. The ferry ride over was quick and easy, felt just like being in Anacortes.
