Stunning views from our modern guesthouse of Mt Hood, the Gorge, and Hood River

My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this beautiful property. The view is simply stunning. From coffee time to wine time it was wonderful to sit and watch the view change. The furnishings and amenities are also perfect. It’s a quick drive into town, and only a few minutes more for Hood River. The property owners were great at communicating, and check-in and out were a breeze. We cannot recommend this property highly enough.

The views are astonishing! Staying here made our trip over the top memorable! Waking up to sunrises and going to bed after sunsets of Mt Hood and the River Gorge will never be forgotten!

This place is perfect in every way! The hosts have been super helpful both in communication and in how thoughtfully they have provided for everything one might need. The place was spotless, and a very comfy spot for lazy mornings and evening rest! It was so convenient for getting into town and to the hiking trails at Mt Hood.

This place was everything we were expecting and more. Best view I’ve ever had from a property. White salmon had great restaurants, awesome bakery, and plenty of places to hike and see the outdoors.

Tao and his family were the perfect hosts. The house was nothing less than spectacular, and views were to die for. Great hiking and wine all around. 5 stars!

Property has a great view of the river and down the gorge. We had sunny weather when we arrived and got to experience some lightning later in the evening. Property was clean and perfect for just the two of us while we explored the Hood River area. Definitely recommend the Bigfoot museum in Boring, OR and the Antique Aeroplane and Car museum. Finished off the trip with a quick hike up Beacon Rock just before the rain came back. Great place to stay if you get the chance.

Ernesto and Marcela’s place was in pristine conditions, their response was always fast and polite, and location couldn’t be better. We will definitely consider coming back to admire the Gorge’s view from their guest house. Our only suggestion is to switch to softer pillows or have an alternative to choose from. Lorena .

The Penthouse is an accurate description! You are on top of the cliff! 180 degree view, a wall of windows from kitchen/living room & bedroom. Over looking the Columbia River & Hood River. Everything was nicely appointed & comfortable! VERY NICE!

This guest house is a great location for an active couple looking for spectacular views of the gorge and Mt Hood and quick access to food, drinks and local hiking/biking trails. Downtown White Salmon has solid eating and drinking options and is a 5 min drive. If you want more options, Hood River is 15 to 20 minutes. You can easily head east for 10 miles and enjoy high desert hiking and biking or 10 miles west for typical west of the Cascades hiking and waterfalls. The guest house is a climb down quite a few concrete steps from parking ... so you should feel comfortable hauling your suitcases/bags down and then up the steps. We are an active, mid 60s couple and it wasn't an issue. We will be back for another visit!

amazing place to stay! We stayed here after our wedding and loved the views of the gorge and mt hood. Absolutely stunning. The hosts were excellent - very responsive and helpful!
