Stunning Updated 5 Bedroom/5 bath Margaritaville Resort Lake Front View Home!

The owner of the home was easy to communicate to, she was willing to work with us when things start changing up And the pictures of the house was exactly correct

This property looked just like the pictures! As previous reviews mentioned, there's a few cabinets in the kitchen missing doors or a drawer that won't open, but that had no impact on our enjoyment whatsoever. All in all, this was perfect for our group for a chill weekend. Couple things that didn't meet expectations or can be improved upon, but are definitely not deal breakers: Some gps routes took our other guests through a second entrance that required a passcode, which was not provided from the owner. If you go through the first Margaritaville entrance, there's no gate, but only 1 of 4 gps used that route so I think it would have been beneficial for the property owner to make that known, either the code or to expressly state that we should take one entrance over the other. We were under the assumption that paper products would be available, but we ran through the one and only paper towel roll pretty quickly and didn't notice very much extra TP either. Not a huge deal, there's a gas station right outside the resort, but it would be nice if the house was stocked with extra. It would also be great if the property offered recycling. The jetted tub is in the bathroom down the stairs for the loft, not an actual en-suite. Even on NYE, we could not see the fireworks. I would have liked the owner checking in or some kind of welcome, as we did not hear anything from them. But I realize that's not for everyone. We had so much fun and look forward to staying again in warmer weather!

The view is amazing, location is lovely, and the owner is friendly and responsive. However, we did not find the house to be worth the money paid. The house is dirty. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. The overhead light in the bunk room was draped in cobwebs. A hole in the ceiling of one of the bathrooms displays dark mold. There were lots of tripping hazards. The carpet in one suite was rolled up and sticking out and my husband and I both tripped numerous times. The oven has broken glass exposed, and the cooktop wouldn’t heat enough to boil a large pot of water. Lightbulbs were burned out throughout the home, but the owner provided lightbulbs upon request. The lights flickered several times. Many outlets didn’t work. While it says it sleeps 20, we were crowded with 10. The house is overused and under cared for. It’s a shame, because it could be so lovely.

The house location was fabulous and the living area design was perfect for our group of 9. We had a few issues initially but the host was very prompt in communicating with us.

The location of this home is amazing! The house itself has a ton of potential, but it is very rundown and is in need of a deep cleaning. We are not super type A people, but from the dirt that we could see, we were not comfortable allowing the under one year-old to scoot around on the floor. In the kitchen, there were ants all over the counter when we arrived. When we started opening cabinet doors, there were crumbs all in the cabinet, which is probably attributing to this. The trim piece on one of the sliding doors was held up by packing tape and fell off, hitting one of the younger children on the head when they were trying to go out the door. The carpet in two of the bedrooms had bare lines where the pieces of carpet did not meet up, and the rug had a corner chewed off. In one of the main bathrooms, there was what was assumed to be staining on the floor. I got down with water and a hand towel and scrubbed for about 30 seconds. The tile went from being brown to cream colored. There were covers missing on the electrical outlets and many of the light switches did not work. All in all, this could be an absolutely amazing stay, but it did not feel clean or safe for a family. We did reach out to the host to let them know of some of the issues within 12 hours of arriving. We were thanked for our input by the owner/host, but there was no offer to send out housekeeping or exterminator etc to try and mediate some of the issues before we left. Our stay was only for 2 nights.

It was great here! The house was easy to get to and our host made everything go so smoothly. This was a great place and we all loved staying here and enjoying our getaway :))

Host was fast and helpful with any messages that I sent. Absolutely amazing home. Beautiful view from almost every room in this house. Balconies on I think every room as well. The heat was terrible this week and we were very impressed how cool the house stayed. Nice location. Highly recommend!

Too small of a kitchen for the number of guests it’s rated to accommodate. Lots of things need repair or update. Windows cracked. Urine around the toilet. Filthy bed sheets. Not stocked with basics…toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels. Not enough towels for a large group. Poor water pressure and shower heads. No water access to the lake. No window shades. Easy check in and check out. But, with all the above mentioned issues…we won’t be returning and won’t recommend.

This gem was perfect for our three families that traveled to Osage Beach for our family reunion. The location was perfect and the deck had an amazing view. Sadly we didn’t spend as much time there as we would have liked as our reunion was elsewhere. Would definitely rent again!

This home fit my group comfortably. My only comments would regard the deck railing and outlet use. The deck railing was not steady and would not be suitable for families with young children- my group was all adults, and even so, we were weary of leaning on the railing on the decks. Several of the outlets in the home were not functional, making it hard to charge devices/get ready with large groups. The host was very responsive and friendly and we enjoyed our stay overall!

We stayed here for a family reunion and the house was great for all of us. Price was less than many others in the neighborhood. Walking distance to Margaritaville. Wonderful big water view from expansive deck. Hot tub was a great touch. Kitchen was well appointed and easy to cook for our large group. The homeowner was responsive and helpful with questions. We would definitely stay here again.

We truly loved this home!! Great view of the lake and very comfortable being there.

Great time great views

The space worked great for home base for our family gathering Got early check-in and late check-out. Love the host very accommodating and helpful. Only issue was bed space. Couch converted to bed called queen but maybe long double. And one room was short a queen bed. Very nice outside area and roomie sitting space. Plan on making this a yearly event!!

This house was very accommodating for the size of our group. Allowed for privacy and the view to the lake was beautiful!!

Beautiful place just needs to be fixed. Railing on deck borderline unsafe, Ants all over kitchen. Some appliances didn't work. Great Location.

Everything was as expected. The house was large enough to comfortably sleep large numbers of guests. The only complaint is that the deck railing should be better secured.

I've never written a review before. Here's my first: this place was was horrible. The dishwasher was completely broken and the rules state we are to load the dishwasher. It remains to be seen if extra charges will apply. The dryer was broke and they acknowledged this with a note on the dryer after we arrived. We had no access to laundry for the five (5) day stay. There was no toiletries other than toilet paper. We had no soap. The windows were broken, the sliding glass doors as well as screen doors did not work. The outdoor patio had 2' high weeds everywhere where we all got chiggars just to walk outside and consider outdoor seating and use of a fire pit. Worst of all, there were ants all over the property. This was a constant problem as they were everywhere, all over anything including ourselves.

Overall it was quite nice. Housed our 7 children and their families comfortably with the exception to the queen bed on the loft. It was too open for any privacy. Also the jet tub associated with that bathroom did not fill with enough hot water to test it. There was only one reliable door to the main deck and the hot tub was dirty. The dishwasher and outdoor grill did not work

The porch was amazing in its view of the lake. The room sizes were adequate and the bathrooms were clean. The kids really enjoyed their own room. Housekeeping could do a better job dusting and the floors could be cleaner. I had to dust the living room vent since it was filthy. Loved the hot tub and firepit but had to weed in order to use it. The dryer did not heat up so one could not dry any wash, top rack of the dishwasher was broken, the window in the kitchen was cracked, the lounge chairs backs were broken so one could not sit back on them, the light in the frig needed to be changed.
