The Big Easy is located in the Lower Garden District, one of the most desirable communities in the city. It is known for its architecture, gorgeous historical homes and bohemian vibe. This neighborhood is close to all the action of the French Quarter yet far enough away to live and play like a local.

When you stay here, you’ll be close to:

St. Charles Avenue: Only a 5-minute walk from The Big Easy, you’ll find yourself on St.Charles Avenue, home of the Mardi Gras parade route. Here you can catch the iconic St. Charles streetcar that will carry you through districts like the French Quarter, CBD, and Uptown. You could not be in a more convenient location.

St. Mary’s Assumption Church: A national treasure, this cathedral was completed in 1860. It’s a beautiful historical landmark and even made its way into one of renowned author Anne Rice’s novels. Even if you aren’t a history buff, you’ll appreciate taking in the architecture of this gorgeous building.

Host was very helpful. They were able to accommodate some flexibility in the check-in. All amenities were as described. We weren't able to utilize the roof deck only because of the weather but it looked nice. Neighborhood is perfectly fine. Some local characters kept it interesting but we never felt unsafe.

This is a great place to stay in New Orleans. We loved having enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. It is located conveniently to all parts of the city. Everything in the unit was sparkling clean. Having the washer and dryer was a bonus we enjoyed greatly. I highly recommend this host as they were receptive to our needs and available for input when necessary.

Such a great stay! It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with good kitchen ware, keurig coffee maker, linens, and plenty of space. We had 5 couples and each had their own bedroom and bathroom. We walked to the French quarter and Caesars Superdome and felt safe together. The rooftop patio was the best hangout place and we loved the view!

Home is large and spacious with 5 bedrooms. Baby bed and high chair worked well. Plenty of coffee. Bring your own spices.Couldn't distinguish at times whether I was communicating with owners, corporation or VRBO.This is a corporate rental, therefore, if you want to stay addional hours, the cost was 25/hour. This was not explained upfront. There was no one coming in after us, so they could have extended at no charge.

The place was perfect! It was spacious, clean, & comfy. Our party was aged 62-76. Mostly siblings in for our nephews wedding. The location was close to all the wedding weekend events. There was enough time between events to visit & enjoy the City. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were sooo comfortable. Would recommend doing some review of area events before you come. We did not and wasted time having to look up and review things to do in between events. There are no elevator so if you choose this location there are 2 flights of stairs. The rooftop setup and view were striking! But beware there is another flight of stairs and care must be taken when entering the roof. But it was so worth it! We didn't take many pics but the pics on VRBO were exactly as depicted. I included one pic from the rooftop. The hosts responded quickly with their answers when we had questions and were very nice and attentive. Would definitely stay again and recommend this place for family and friends.

The property is as described! 5 big beds, 5 lovely bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, great location. Especially enjoyed cafe reconcile, seawitch, and Avenue pub all nearby. Rooftop was a nice relaxing space, though we barely used it due to bad weather, unfortunately.
