Only 2 hours from Sydney, this quiet, bayside location is an ideal getaway for families with easy access to the beach and foreshore walks. This brand new, 2 story, fully air-conditioned house, has everything you need to enjoy the perfect holiday in Port Stephens. From the moment you enter the front door, the water view is there for you to enjoy.

It is a quiet and tranquil area and is therefore for families only.
PLEASE NOTE, parties, functions, groups, or schoolies are not allowed, so please do not try and book to avoid disappointment. We are in a nice residential area therefore strictly no late night noise after 10pm. No smoking, no pets.

The ground floor contains the main living area and kitchen, which comes fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge-freezer with water dispenser, wine fridge, an induction hob with an oversize oven and a Nespresso Virtuo machine for your use (please note the Virtuo machine does not take standard pods).

The main living area has a wood-burning stove for those winter nights and a double height aspect to the cathedral ceiling and the floor above. Also on the ground floor is a media room with a smart TV, DVD player and surround sound system.

As you walk past the kitchen and lounge, through the extra large sliding doors, you enter the the covered alfresco area complete with a 6 place outdoor dining setting, a 2 seater lounge and a weber barbeque.

Also on the ground floor is a separate powder room and a laundry room, which contains a washing machine and dryer. The laundry also contains a large shower and side access to the path leading to the beach area.

Upstairs there is a spacious TV lounge overlooking the bay, equipped with a 65 inch smart TV with Netflix, Chromecast and HDMI cable ready for your personal devices. There are 4 double bedrooms including a master with a queen bed, walk in robe and en-suite. The other 3 bedrooms contain one queen and 2 double sized beds and built in wardrobes, with an additional family bathroom with a bath and separate shower.

Other amenities include a double garage with internal access for off-street parking, an external shower and a storeroom, with a paddleboard and 3 kayaks available for your use with lifejackets provided.

Due to the steep driveway, it is recommended parking forwards in the garage before turning and leaving the property in a forwards direction. If you do have a boat or jetski, you will not be able to park it on the property, however there is plenty of nearby parking where you can park the boat or jetski trailer using a parking lock.

This location is perfect for those who want to explore the surrounding area. There is Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Fingal Bay and Anna Bay, all just a 5 to 15 minute drive away. You will find the many restaurants, cafes, resort shops, galleries, various sporting clubs, boat ramps and marinas in these locations together with those in Soldiers Point itself and at the Soldiers Point Marina. The recently opened Bannisters, with its Rick Stein restaurant is 2 minutes walk and the local Salamander Bay village shops are within 15 minutes. Salamander Bay shopping centre with Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, K Mart and speciality shops is a short drive from the property.

A holding Security Bond of $2000 is required for this property in addition to the holiday accommodation total.
Please note, supplementary charges of $40 per night apply to each guest for parties of over 4 due to additional linen and cleaning.

    Dave & Caz were great hosts with exceptional communication from start to finish. The home was very clean and comfortable with spacious living areas and had absolutely everything you need.

    The house was in a perfect location near a quiet little stretch of beach. Our grandchildren (2-5yrs) enjoyed playing in the water. We also used the included Kayaks along with a double inflatable kayak that we brought with us. The house layout, air conditioning, Kitchen & living areas worked well for our family of 3 generations. It was well appointed with everything we needed.The driveway is steep. We brought a jetski and found it challenging to get up and down the steep curved drive. However there is nearby parking which we used with a wheel lock on the jetski and that worked well. The driveway is fine for cars but challenging when towing.Also note that the coffee machine is a Nespresso Vertuo which does not use the standard sized pods. You will need to order these online so check before you go if you like your coffee.Caz & Dave were very easy to communicate with and getting in and out via a lock box made check in and out super easy.This was a great house and we would certainly recommend it! Thanks for the holiday!

    Had an excellent stay at the property over Easter. Such a beautiful home, and in an amazing position in the bay, being able to literally walk out the door on to the water.Everything about the check in was made so easy, with great communication and feedback from Dave and Kaz. My only issue was getting my boat into the driveway, but there are plenty of spots close by to park your boat, and easy access to the boat ramp. Being able to launch the boat, and then drive it around to the backyard of the property was an excellent bonus for our family.Overall would recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing waterfront holiday, with everything you need within walking distance, and a beautiful home with everything you would need provided.

    We had such a beautiful stay here. The house was perfect, the location is stunning. The kids loved having a paddle in the water, which is literally the back yard. We took the boat, easy access to the boat ramp. Hosts Dave and Caz were great, easy to communicate with. So peaceful, we can’t wait to go back.

    We would highly recommend this property to those who want to enjoy a relaxed outlook. Our hosts, Dave & Caz, were very accommodating, providing access to a couple of kayaks and a stand-up paddle board, which we enjoyed using - cruising the bay and looking for dolphins. The property is well-appointed and comfortable, with a lovely deck that opens onto a grassed area, leading to your own private beach. The location was exactly what we were hoping for and we would love to stay here again in the future.
