Stunning Contemporary Home, a River Penthouse on Russian River, like No Other!!

The house and location to the river was stunning. We absolutely loved the view, the massive decks, the windows that opened up to the outside and the size of the house was fabulous. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of supplies within the kitchen to cook for a large party. We also loved the dock on the river, the convenience of the location, and all the kayaks and canoes they had available to us. The house had been remodeled, however, the bathrooms had not. All the bathrooms had old, outdated fixtures, holes in the tile potentially posing problems to bare feet, and lots of mold. We also did not feel super safe given one of the very large windows would not lock and one of the doors. I messaged the manager of the property and never got a response. If they corrected these issues, we would certainly return, but for the immense cost of the rental, the bathrooms and guests safety were the only real let down.

My son my sister and I stayed for 4 nights in October.Opening the house up and letting the outdoors in was a real treat. The kitchen has everything you need to make a gourmet dinner. The house was very clean and welcoming.Living among the redwoods was very picturesque.

We stayed the 4th of July weekend and the pictures do not do this home justice. It is amazing! Loved our stay and we will be back! Location is perfect! Lots of water craft for the water to keep the kids busy. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful Home!

Really fantastic property.

This place has everything you could ever ask for. An amazing location on the river with dock and watercraft. We certainly over packed because the kitchen is fully stocked, even with spices and every appliance. There is plenty to do with outdoor activities and indoor entertainment.

Wow! The listing was stunning. The reality was even better. Now for the practical stuff:3 large bedrooms all with Kings (one with 2 King beds);Single floor house with wonderful open concept;Very well stocked with all essentials like towels, bedding, condiments, dishes, cooking tools, two gas grills, (they have thought of most everything and provided it);There are some steps leading from the drive to the entry but they are broad, slip proof, and have easy hand rails;The combination contemporary and mid-century design works like a dream. If you love these styles you will be thrilled to find this gem;Quiet, beautiful neighborhood for walking among the redwoods with an Allistair McKenzie designed 9 hole golf course a couple minutes from the house;The views from the massive deck are amazing with multiple seating areas and the views from inside through the floor to ceiling windows make the home seamlessly integrated with the surroundings;The host was responsive, well prepared, and provided videos of how to operate certain features of the house prior to arrival. Could not have asked for more and did not have to. Great for a couple who likes space, or several couples who want to vacation together. Also great for a family with the river and activities right there. Please don’t screw this up with a big, noisy party. The house is great for entertaining but the vibe is quiet relaxation and it delivers on all levels. Thank you Fidel! Already planning a return trip.

Everything about the trip was wonderful, except the weather The house was very well equipped, and very comfortable.On Christmas Day, my son and his family joined us and we were able to have a beautiful avocado family Christmas dinner

We were there over Thanksgiving. It was very peaceful and the house was more than spacious. The deck is huge and provided great view of the Russian River. And the fact that there were no other houses on the other side provided even more serenity. A very good experienc.

This is a jaw dropping property perfect for special celebrations with friends and family. The host was very responsive to my questions and supplied special touches such as flower pots all around the deck and a fantastic, large dock on the river.

The huge deck, beautiful redwoods, grass area, large windows, modern aesthetic, wonderful dock, ample river equipment… all these things made for a magical stay! We will definitely book again.

The house is beautiful and very peaceful. Very well stocked with appliances and makes for a lovely family get away. The only catch was that the deck is very splintery and we didn’t catch that until too late and my 3 year old daughter’s feet and legs were covered in splinters that we had to dig out a few times. We would definitely stay again. There’s nothing more serene than sitting outside with a cup of coffee in the morning watching the river slowly wake up with birds and kayakers.

The property itself was absolutely stunning - a beautiful home right on the river with wonderful amenities. The location could not have been better. However, after our stay there were some disagreements with the property owner regarding the condition in which we left the home. While we took (and always take) extra effort to be respectful guests and leave the property in good shape, the owner claimed our stay necessitated excessive cleaning, which we strongly dispute, and that we broke a chair, which was broken when we arrived. In the end, I believe we were able to resolve the matter and move on, but the post-stay interaction left a bit of a cloud over an otherwise wonderful weekend at a gorgeous property. I'm hopeful the owner and I can simply agree to disagree and leave the weekend and the property with positive reviews, as it deserves.

Exactly as advertised. Host offered many ideas for places to go and things to do. Easiest check-in we've experienced. Highly recommended.
