Very clean and very Quiet. Close access to walking trails and beach at Tawas Point State Park. Short drive into town for Blues Festival. Bed was a little to soft for what I like. But the apartment was very nice.

Perfect spot for a long weekend getaway. Walking distance to Tawas State Park, quick drive to East Tawas for shops and restaurants. Accommodations were exactly as described and communication from Erin was fabulous.

Beautiful and quiet space. Near enough downtown yet far enough from the noise. Clean and comfy. Was a very tranquil spot. Great for solo or couples traveling. Was happy they were dog friendly. I didn’t stay overnight due to security issue with the exterior lock and key but the host was amenable to fixing the lock issue that same day and compensated me with a refund which was appreciated.

The property was very close to Tawas State Park. The studio has beautiful custom cabinets throughout the interior. It had high end soaps and shampoo products. It could have had hand soap at sink side. Anythings we needed the host provided or found for us. I would love a broom to sweep floors since stayed a couple days, and wisk broom a wee bit small to use on entire floor . Outide could us a good leaf blower to clean twigs. Thanks for the stay Erin.

Fantastic studio apartment literally 2 minute walk from the state park. Also, only a short drive back into Downtown Tawas. The accommodation was lovely and clean, and the host was very quick to respond to questions ;”)

We thought we had the most comfortable bed at home but we found this property has the GOAT of beds. I need one now. Erin is super nice and helpful, she brought us a freshly washed blanket and a home made bath soap that smelled divine! Soft towels that actually wrap around the body, clean and comfortable linens.Beach towels that were better than the one we have. The apartment was so clean and I know clean. We plan to stay here on a regular basis when in Tawas for our sailboat.

This property worked out great for our family of 2 adult couples and a 20-something male along with 1 dog. The view out of the front of the home is not appealing, however you can see that in the photos provided, so that is your choice to make. It was not an issue to us because we wanted the close proximity to the state park. We enjoyed the human beach and the dog beach every day and we all rode bikes, drove and walked back & forth from the house to the park. BigBoy is right at the corner (yum) as well as a steakhouse that looked very nice inside that we did not try. We also went to town and enjoyed the brewery, the shops and fish at Augies. We drove up north to another state park with some good rock hunting (no rocks in Tawas) north of Oscode in Harrisville for the afternoon and tried a brewery up that way, food was great there too. The home's backyard is nice, as is the fire-pit and table & chairs and grill out back. The kitchen is great. The house could use a new coffee pot! BYO. The air conditioning units were amazing! We had to use fans we brought to push the cool air towards the other bedrooms upstairs. Everything was immaculately clean, towels and sheets were great. The only thing for me was that I am highly allergic to feathers and the sofa in the living room is full of them. We just covered the sofa with sheets and blankets. This is no downfall of the the owner or the rental agency. It's my fault. Would rent again if sofa was replaced otherwise great rental for $$!

House was clean, but unusual. Lots of different levels with lots of steps. Bathroom's were well stocked and very nice. Lake Huron was right across the street , but view was block by large marina with huge buildings and boats sitting everywhere. Walking distance from Tawas State Psrk the beach. Which was nice.

This home is absolutely beautiful. My husband spent hours opening cabinets & admiring the amazing woodwork (no exaggeration)!! Although advertised as a small home because it’s only 2 bedrooms- it is very spacious. We were in the area for a wedding & quick weekend getaway- but could’ve easily had our entire family there for a week and been very comfortable. Erin was very responsive to questions. Location is AMAZING! Overall, this was one of the must beautiful and unique properties we’ve ever stayed at.

The location is great, walking distance to Tawas Point State Park and beaches. The home has lots of room and is up to date with appliances, flooring and bathrooms, etc. The only issue that my wife had was that there the ants which were apparently attracted to crumbs in the pantry.

We had a great time in this super cool house. Clean and we had everything we needed. Big beach towels and a beach umbrella that came in so handy! Right by the State park where we hiked, saw the lighthouse and went to the beautiful beach. We were able to watch apps on the t.v. which my 9 year old loved.

My husband & I and, (at the last minute) my daughter, husband & 4 yo granddaughter were able to get away that week for vacation. The interior of this home is absolutely beautiful with the knotty pine throughout and the beautiful tile floors. Both bathrooms are spacious and beautifully updated. The upstairs bedroom/kitchenette is gorgeous and had everything we needed. The whole interior of this home is gorgeous. The kitchen is amazing with all the storage and cabinets. Washer & dryer very much appreciated but please tell your renters to keep the dryer lint screen clean. It was full to the brim with lint when we arrived and i worry about a fire hazard if left not cleaned. There were some pesky ants but with it being summer it’s expected as I get them occasionally in my home as well. It’s a quiet neighborhood and a short walk/drive to the beach. We really enjoyed this vacation rental and being able to enjoy our granddaughter for a whole week made this vacation extra special. Thanks to the owners for a beautifully decorated vacation home.
