Cute and cozy cottage with Lake Huron access

Location is perfect, close to everything but away from town traffic. Walk to the park & beach! House is clean & just as advertised. We enjoyed eating on the back patio/deck every day. Fantastic breezes. Would stay again, thank you.

We spent most of our time at tawas point state park which was the appeal of staying at this location. Neighborhood was quiet with lots of families and the entrance to the state park was right at the end of the street. The charming little town is just a short drive away with cute shops, local places to eat and a public beach park. All of this made for a perfect low-key vacation spot for our family. Our host checked in with us, but didn’t hover and the house had everything we needed. Washer and dryer were a bonus. We would definitely stay here again! Note: when staying anywhere on the Peninsula Wi-Fi can go in and out, which is outside of the hosts control.

Was a very relaxing week in a cute cottage

The little blue cottage was very nice, it was clean, comfy and it had everything I needed for a long holiday weekend on the point in East Tawas. It's a short walk to the beautiful beach, the State Park, the lighthouse, the marina and short drive to the cute little downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone is very friendly. Jim and Denise, my hosts, were easy to communicate with and made sure I had everything I needed. I will be back for sure!

The cottage was very clean, and a perfect blend of old and new in the decor. We appreciated the close proximity to the State Park, and Lake Huron.

It's a lovely house within walking distance to Lake Huron from 2 sides of the inlet. Treat yourself to a personal retreat!

We wanted a place to stay on Tawas Point, near to our family’s other cottages for a family reunion. This put us just a short walk away. And, as others have said in a quiet community with easy access to the lake, state park, town, and other area attractions. All the communication with Denise was quick and easy. The cottage was well equipped and shiny clean. We would definitely stay there again!

Very cute inside newly remodel

Tawas State Park and the local beaches are my favorite. This is within walking distance of the park and in a very quiet neighborhood. Lots to see in town, good food and lots to explore in the area. Much less crowded it think than the west side of the state.

The home was clean and updated and centrally located to the beach and the downtown area. The owners greeted us upon our arrival and texted to ensure our needs were met during our stay. We also enjoyed the fire pit. The homes sleeps 4 comfortably with a small adult child on the couch for a possible 5th person. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to future visitors.
