Stone house with panoramic views over the bay of Figari, outdoor spa

The villa was perfect, and the attention to details that the host’s has shown throughout this villa is exceptional. The villa was personal and well equipped. And to round it all off the host’s were so nice to us. Overall a great stay I would definitely recommend! Relax and enjoy your visit!

When we go on vacation we prefer renting a decent house in a good location, cater ourselves and stay for 1-2 weeks to explore the area. Let me start with the communication at first. This went all fine even though I don't speak French. But English works, and Google Translate can help to. When we arrived the father of the owners welcomed us and guided us around. If you don't speak French, this gets a bit complicated. But all fine. The house was super clean - and it is exactly as shown in the pictures. Nothing is made up. It is the best decorated place I have ever seen. The terrace is great as are the rooms. Everything is high quality. The beds are excellent. To us, this is really important. And I have to mention that the kitchen is the best equipped kitchen I have ever head (only a decently sized slicing/cutting board is missing). The kitchen is actually better equipped than our own at home. The only tiny downside is the proximity of Figari airport. At least on the weekends in August you'll have up to almost 100 flight movements where half of them pass by in nice visibility from the terrace and the hot tub. We got used to that but for some people this may play a role. We enjoyed our stay a lot - thanks!!

We (my wife, me and our 17y old son) spend our vacation in Priscille and Davide`s holiday home late in August 2021 and I have to say that the property is nothing less than spectacular! The house itself has a wonderful and deliberate layout. In the ground floor there is the main living room that is combined with the kitchen area. The living room has a glass front towards the main patio that can be opened up which means that being inside of the house or outside on the patio flows smoothly into each other. From both the living room and the main patio you have a stunning view on the Golf or Figari, the Mediterranean Sea and the hills of Sardinia. The bedroom on the ground floor also has a glass front to the main patio which gives the same stunning view to the sea. Further on the ground floor is the bathroom, a separate toilet and a storeroom. The first floor is reached from an open stair and has the second bedroom, a separate bathroom and toilet and the first-floor patio that has an even more stunning view on the Mediterranean. Thus, in the first floor the kids or a second couple can have their own area and can stay a bit for themselves. Another amazing detail of the house is “The Rock” which is a massive granite rock just behind the house that is almost as large as the house itself and has been integrated with the architecture of the property. The gap between the rock and the house has been used to form a small patio that has a little garden, a place to sit and the area for the grill. The rock is stunning and the patio is a nice place to hang out specially when it is hot as it is sheltered from the sun. The kitchen has tableware in abundance. Oven, microwave, fringe is all there as well as any kind of kitchen tool you can think of. Preparing a dinner for a huge crowd of guests could be easily done in this kitchen! A word on the decoration of the house: We could have spent the entire week of our stay just for exploring all the details of the decoration! I cannot imagine how much effort must have been spend on the decoration. All is very nice and elegant! When we arrived everything out- and inside the house was as clean and tidy as if it was all new and had never been used before! The village of Pianottoli-Caldarello is nearby, either a 3min drive or a 15min walk. It is small but you will find there two supermarkets, bakeries and a few restaurants (but we didn´t went there). In summary, the house is absolutely amazing and I can only recommend it!

We very much enjoyed this house with the amazing views over the bay of Figari. It exceeded our expectations - the view, the facilities, the communication with the owners Relaxing on the terrace, cooking in the cave and looking at the stars from the hot tub were greatly appreciated after days spent exploring south Corsica. I recommend without hesitation.

The house is immaculate and close and convenient to take advantage of the southern part of Corsica. The view is lovely and the area is very quiet. The house is equipped with all the amenities necessary to cook or simply enjoyed if you prefer to eat out. We loved it and recommend it without hesitation, thank you for a lovely stay.

We had an amazing time in this property. The house is very clean, confortable and exquisitely decorated. You can definitely see the attention to details that came with building the plans and every item of the house. The house has all the needed appliances for a great vacation, and also a parking spot which definitely comes in handy. Location wise, it's in a quiet village in South Corsica that has quick car access to a lot of great spots (Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio, and a lot of quiet beaches in between...). For this location, I would recommend a car since Corsica is a bit hilly and the weather is warm :) You have a few planes a day coming in that you can hear and see but it's not a major inconvenience given the frequency and timing in the day. Also, we felt very welcome there and had a great contact with the owners throughout the process. You can definitely feel the love the family put in the house and their passion for the island. Our conversation were in French since I'm French but I'm convinced they would do a great job in English as well and they talked with my in-laws who travelled from the US. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone.
