Stayed Aug 2, 2025We had a very nice stay at this beautiful property. Location: Excellent! Truly steps from Dock Square but far enough away that you are not bothered by the traffic. We walked into Dock Sq for breakfast, dinner, shopping, ice cream etc. The beach is walkable but we had no trouble finding parking. The house comes with a pass so you can park for free in Kennebunk beach spots. The house is in the main beach road but due to the design you do not hear traffic. House:This house is old but has been updated and renovated. It has a lot of character and things like the floors seem original to the 1850s. To me this house is what New England should be. It was nicely decorated and had plenty of supplies. The description says it has TP, paper towels etc to get you started but we found the house had plenty of toiletries, detergent, and even things like foil, ziploc bags, and coffee. There are two living spaces with TVs. There are two bedrooms but one of the living spaces has a pull out bed along with doors that essentially turn it into a bedroom. The beds upstairs were very comfortable memory foam. We also really enjoyed the large sunroom! There were also plenty f beach toys and games to play with in the house. Parking: easy private parking Host: Responsive and nice. Overall this was a great location and cool house. We had a great time!

Stayed Jul 28, 2025Very cute house in an absolutely perfect location. Steps from the Dock Square neighborhood and a good walk to the beach or a quick drive. Parking passes for beaches a huge benefit. Beautiful sunroom and ample room downstairs for living area and dining and kitchen was easy for cooking and cleaning up. Perfect size for us and the baby, and crib was a huge plus. Drawbacks were that the beds were very uncomfortable foam with thin comforters and bedrooms lacked blackout curtains and sun came up at 5. The kids’ room did have blackout curtains but the AC in there was very loud and disruptive to sleep. Beach towels were locked away so we had to buy our own (expensive in town) but I guess are usually available. Not a lot of backyard space or outdoor area to hang outside. Not a big deal and a cute quirk of the house but if sharing with multiple people could get tiresome knocking on doors and going around. Would stay here again!
